I listen to a couple Cannon photographers that have been online for many years and this land lens was highly recommended. So I purchased it and have to agree that it is a really great all-purpose lens. I have the EF lenses for my 5D Mark 3 and this one is just as good as those lenses that cost one and a half to two times the money. I have never been a fan of superzooms, but I read many positive reviews about this lens, so I decided to give it a try. Overall I was very impressed with the image quality, AF speed, and Image Stabilization. I used it on a trip to Spain together with the RF 16-28mm f2.8 STM, and the results were surprisingly better than I expected!
