These lights are awesome! There is a big difference… as seen in the pics… the led lights didn’t come with clear instructions but after I got them installed, I’m a happy Customer… I had to watcha few YouTube videos to figure it out, so I’ll help y’all out here… the black ring around the led bulb detaches (by twisting and pulling it off) it can be slid off so that you will be able to slide the stock locking rings to the light housing onto the led light bulb (other wise the other pieces won’t fit over the led bulb & you won’t be able to lock the led bulb in place) … after you have put the other components to the light fixture on it, you can then replace the black locking ring to the led bulb… it should all fit back into the housing with no problem… If this isn’t clear… YouTube is your friend.

Upgraded from stock bulbs to this passively cooled LED bulb for a 2013 Honda CR-V. Very easy and quick upgrade. Light is white and very bright. I wanted to note that the beam straight from the front of the car is very bright. Where I see this being a bit weak is the light output at like 45 degrees and wider on either side of the car. Not sure if this is due to the projector style lamp or the LED bulb itself, but either way its a no brainer upgrade from stock. Can't dock a star since I'm not sure. One note is that the company sent me a set of boots but I cut the rubber on the stock ones to fit the bulb. See picture.

I have had the bulbs for 1 year. I put them in my 1998 GMC C1500. The bulbs still work and shine bright after 1 year, the only complaint I have is that the back of the bulb is so big that I could never fully get them to fit perfect but they fit well enough to work.

these are great headlight bulbs, super bright on both low and super bright on high beam! put this in my Motorcycle, I can see so much better and farther at night, and will help people to see me better during the day time.

These work great for a replacement of a H4 halogen bulb. This is the first time I've seen an LED actually have a defined high/low beam without blinding everyone on the road. But, they put out a lot of radio interference that's been difficult to filter out.

I LOVE theses bulbs. They should be factory equipment ! I just got these in Sept 2022. Simple change out. Just unplug the halogens, and plug these in. No fuss no muss no adapter or anything. Heck, you don’t even have to adjust anything. The beam is same level as factory. I like the fact they aren’t fan cooled. I assume these might last longer due to less parts to fail. Let’s hope !!!! The heat sink really doesn’t get hot hot…I think this will also help with longevity. My halogens only last 6 months and aren’t cheap. I like the brightness of these. They don’t seem overly bright. Just right in my opinion. I also pulled the fuse under the dash to block the daytime running lights. I think this will extend bulb life as well. I don’t need DRL. I’d rather have longer lasting bulbs. No flickering, no radio interference, no nothing. All brake lights, turn signals, high low beams all work as they should. Time will tell how long these will last. Fingers crossed.

Very disappointed with these not fitting. You MUST insert the bulb first, then the boot, and then the wiring harness. The boot keeps the stock lens sealed from water, so you don't want to cut/modify it. These bulbs allow you to remove the star fitting, but threading it through the boot made it impossible to fit the bulb with the retainer. I saw that replacement boots may have been included with their purchases, but none with mine. Returning for fitment issue.
