This is Canon's EF 70-200 lens, which I bought primarily for shooting youth soccer matches. I use it with the Canon R6 Mii body, and naturally am using an EF-RF adapter. The quality is superb, very fast focus, and works flawlessly with the RF system. I originally tried to find a good used one, but came across this factory refurbished and decided to give it a try. I'll never look back - while I paid a small premium over used, I saved a few hundred over new. Upon arrival, I inspected the lens and it appeared to be flawless - brand-new condition, no scratches or dings or marks. Honestly couldn't tell the difference between this a one directly off the shelf. And, while only getting to 200mm doesn't grab detailed shots from all the way down field (100 yards), at f2.8 I can shoot under lights for night matches. And, if needed can pair it with a magnification extender if it's really needed. ... show more

Awesome lens to say the least!!!! I am not an avid photographer as i bought this for my wife as a gift! She is absolutely in love with this lens!! It is a little big and has some weight to it, buts the only issue she has found with it!!! She loves all the advanced setting this thing has. The image stabilization is amazing!!! The lens works great as far as she is concerned! She has used this lens for everything from nature photos to weddings and parades. I would say this is her favorite lens out of all of the ones she has!! Great purchase and the lens arrived in great shape!! ... show more

There is a reason this is regarded as one of the best portrait and sports lenses of all time. If you have the budget and the upper body strength, stop dreaming and buy it. Every time I use this lens I fall in love with it all over again. Pros: Telepathic focusing. Incredible image quality. Color and contrast are the stuff dreams are made of. Subject isolation is just…perfect. Image stabilization is very effective. Cons: The price and weight will limit the number of people who get to experience this absolute dream of a lens. ... show more

This lens was refurbished and it came like it had never come out of the box before. Perfectly packed in original looking box, wrapped snug for protection, there's no way to even tell it's refurbished. It takes the absolute best photos I've ever done before. Well worth buying refurbished.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful lens! Makes a great addition to my EOS R it says it's renewed but it dosen't seem like it! There's no blemishes on the body or the glass whatsoever, the af is sharp and precise and the compression this lens brings to pictures is beautiful! It's beautifully packaged with all accessories and wrapped as it came from factory. And holding bag is included too. I definitely recommend buying this if you don't want to spend the msrp for a brand new one. The communication with the seller could have been better, but things went smoothly for the most part. I am not a professional photographer. I bought a DSLR 15 years ago to take photos of my new kids. Over the years, as my skills have increased, I have been upgrading lenses but never wanted to spend $2000 on a lens. That is, until, my kids started playing night sports. My $150 EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II was useless at distance with low lighting conditions. After much reading of product reviews and thinking about the pricing, I became convinced that this was the best lens on the market and would provide the larger aperture and image stabilization for me to capture my kids playing football and soccer at night. I considered some of the less expensive lenses with similar specifications, but did not want to have any buyer's remorse and decided I could spend the money to buy a refurbished model for $1700. The lens was packaged and looked brand-new. Even for an amateur photographer, I believe that spending the money to buy this lens is totally worth it. I am able to take photos of night sports that are properly exposed and focused. This lens is also fast even where there is less lighting than in a professional sports stadium. In this regard, this lens met or exceeded all my expectations. What really impressed me were the quality of the photographs I was able to take during the day and at shorter distances. Crisp, clear and terrific colors. Although I am not a professional photographer, my photos look like they were taken by a professional. If you have the means to buy this lens, do it. ... show more

    • WOW! Fantastic lens - fantastic value!
When it comes to used/ refurbished equipment, it is often hit and miss with many falling into the not so great category - definitely NOT the case here. In fact, I'm not completely convinced that this lens was ever even taken out of the box, much less used. Original accessories (cap, hood, soft case), what looks like original packing, and in original the box with not even a smudge, scratch, or dent on, unlike the all to common "white box" packaging when buying used/ refurbished. The lens itself is in impeccable condition with not so much as a single speck of dust or any signs of use to be found anywhere, and I mean anywhere ... I still just can't wrap my head around this being refurbished (kudos for an A+ job if it is). Used on my recently purchased R5 with EF-RF adapter (not particularly thrilled with the moving barrel on the RF version so opted for this one and so glad I did). This lens 100% delivers super fast focusing with tack sharp images, and with a fixed F/2.8 aperture throughout, great bokeh, no matter what the zoom. Unbeatable value here for what I believe is one of the best lenses you can buy as an addition to any collection, whether professional or even if just getting in photography. While a decent camera matters, it's a great lens that makes the difference, and this one is just that - simply great. I just don't see how you can go wrong with this one! ... show more
