This product has all the threads described on the website. Not sure why some say threads are missing. People who say they are small do not read the info listed. My desktop computer monitor's leg stand was too big for the ledge on my desk. For a while now, I used foam that it came packed in to hold it up but it was not working as well anymore. I found this clamp and it's perfect! It holds the monitor back in place and keeps it from sliding off the ledge.

Very sturdy for aluminum. Holds my homemade lamp up nicely with 1/4-20 threaded rods. Rod is a little flimsy so I used 2. There were plenty of options for several rods.

    • Neat and versatile little clamp
Several of the reviews mentioned deficiencies with this device, but mine arrived just as described. Perhaps there was a bad batch that slipped through quality control. My mother asked me if I could fabricate something to hold the cord out of the way in her ironing board. I used this clamp, a Bic pen tube, some twisted 12-gauge wire, and a bit of black spray paint to create a stem that clamps to the end of her ironing board and hold the cord up and out of the way. This clamp worked great for my purposes, and I was so impressed by it's versatility that I just ordered two more. I don't even have a use in mind for them, but I just know they'll be handy for some future projects. ... show more

    • Neat clamp, nearly perfect for what it is
So used this to hang a small length of wood underneath the back edge of my desk for the modem and router and such. Bolted some lengths of wood, then l-bracket screwed the longer piece and 90-deg angle. Works great! However if there was a thread hole on the top (where the rubber with the clamp angle is) somewhere there it would be great, so I could bolt on some more bits and create a small stand up behind my monitor for things like a Rift sensors, headphone holder, etc. ... show more
