works well with milwaukee green line lazer level with milwaukee tripod. Just make sure you lube the threads before assembly, especially if you intend to leave it on for a long time.

My 10 year old tripod met is challenge when I got a professional grade laser level. I didn't think investing in a new tripod was necessary due to this little screw doing the conversion between a typical camera mount to a construction level equipment. This converter works as described. It fits well on the existing tripod and goes nicely into the laser level. But because the unit is so much bigger than a traditional camera would be (think 1980ies type hand-held camera) the little screw that the tripod uses just doesn't provide enough stability. Calibrating the level was very hard on the tripod - even though I had a level-bobble on both the tripod and the level because the unit wasn't 100% steady. For my use it's good enough but I wouldn't use this if I traveled to work-sites all the time. Get the real construction grade tripods if you do. ... show more

    • Good quality replacement for a lost adapter
When thieves took my laser lever that took the tripod adapter with it. I had to kluge an adapter made from a 5/8" bolt with a 1/4" tapped hole while I waited for this adapter to arrive. This adapter is much better quality that the one I made in 15 minutes but costs quite a bit more. I feel better using a factor build adapter to support a $1600 instrument. ... show more
