This is by far the worst security camera you could ever spend your money on. While the video quality is good, the app that it connects to (called "Seeing" - which you must use) is riddled with ads and spyware. The motion detection works decently well, but the app and the camera itself are largely unsecured. Before you purchase this, you should be mindful that all cloud-based recordings and monitoring of this device are held on a server that is managed in China. I'm not going to act like I know what they do with that information, but please be aware that this is not an American made item, and the data centers that are holding the photos and videos that this camera produces (often of your children, living space, vehicle identifier, etc) are held in another country with laws that are very different than here in America. ... show more

    • Very Clear Picture, Requires Cheap Subscription for Playback.

Excellent camera for front door use. This small camera fit right into the corner of my door frame. I hooked it to my wifi with a little futzing and once connected, streams on my wifi well. The pictures are VERY clear. One note: if you want playback, you do have to pay for it, but the pricing is so small that you can easily purchase a year of monitoring cheaply. Once set up, and after fidgeting with the controls a little, it's easy to use and predictable. Edit: I just used the speaker function and it works perfectly! I scared the postal worker who came to my door asking for a signature! It was so easy to use, I just hit the microphone button. One note: there's no way to keep someone from removing it if they wanted to, so install it out of reach. So far, after two days of use, it is still at 86% battery power. I do plan to get the solar recharger for it. Very pleased with it, as it adds another element of security to my home. I get notified anytime there is activity near my door. I might get another, to monitor my backdoor, too. Price was very good! ... show more

Great battery life. I fully charged it when I got it a month ago and it’s still at 72%. Motion detection is on point and the notifications to my phone are instantaneous. I love that it’s completely wireless so I can move it wherever I need it or take it with me on vacation. Highly recommend.

This camera does have great quality pictures and videos. However, if you put it on to notify and set for Human Bounding box, motion alert. It still will not record or notify you. If you put on motion detection it goes off every second the sun moves or shade flickers.
