Appears to be built well. Material is heavy. When you open it up, the first unroll is the 20’ part. The folded up part is the 30’ part. Installing it on my loaded trailer. Headed out on a 1100 mile trip. Will see how it holds up.

The tarp is very thick and has reinforced corners. The grommets on one side are very close to the edge, and one ripped out immediately.

I selected this tarp instead of Amazon’s 16 mil tarp since there were grommets every 18 inches and the fabric weave was rated higher. When I installed the tarp on my boat canopy a week ago, I immediately noticed the material did not feel as heavy or dense as Amazon’s 16 mil tarp and the grommet placement on this one was quite irregular with some placed very close to the outer edge. Once I completed installation, I was shocked how short the “20’x40’ tarp was as the length was less than 38’ long! I checked the tarp yesterday and found all the grommets on one side ripped off and the tarp blown to one side. All the reinforced corners were ripped off. My boat was soaked from rain. I tried to resecure the tarp until a replacement arrives. My last tarp (Amazon 16 mil) lasted one year in the Hawaiian sun before it decayed. Despite heavy winds, the grommets held up even though spaced only every 3 ft (much less than this brand). There is no way to reclaim the man hours I have invested trying to deal with this inferior product. I will request a refund and cannot recommend this product. I continue to search for a reliable brand that will give me at least 2 years of service. The photos demonstrate the torn away grommets and ripped through surrounding support rope caused by a 20 mph wind in a protected valley up against a tall storage facility on 2 sides. If you buy this product, I would add additional properly placed grommets in hopes that it will last. It might work fine for ground level applications. Plan on about 10% less square footage than the quoted size. ... show more
