Can this tankless electric water heater be used for shower? No. It's suitable for a sink use. What does this product contain? This product contains water heater,instruction manual, mounting bracket,wall anchor and screws. What amp breaker is required? The units require a 3.5kW at 120 volts. It requires a 32 Amp breaker and 10 gauge wire. Does this come with any power cables? The power cord is 10AWG with grounding wire. And it need to hardwired. How can I do when it cause E1 code? It means the product is oroverheated. You need to lower the setting temprature or replace the temperature measurer. It "works" but doesn't have a practical use with the low flow rate required
First "New" unit came clearly used with scratches and trash in the inlet side. Second one came clearly new but to get any heat out of this you have to lower the flow rate so much its basically not usable for anything realistic. Was going to use it for my outside washing machine, but unless I cut back the valve going to it to almost closed the water never heats up. Couldn't use this as an outdoor shower, rv heater or even under a sink to warm water. Practically no use for it. I understand its 120v but still, should be able to at least have some decent flow through it. I'd return it but I spent over $100 in supplies I can't return to install it. ... show more
