  • Camplux 6 Gallon Electric Hot Water
Style: 6.0Gal
I highly recommend! Holds 6 gallons, 120 volt corded water heater The factory hot water heater in my camper went out and I had it replaced it with this one. My son was able to install with no problems. It did require a electrical plug to be installed. It works great. Heats up in about 10 minutes and makes no noise. It's been in about a year now and I have had no leakage. ... show more

  • Works great !

This is the second CAMPLUX hot water heater I have purchased. I use this in a tiny house and the last one lasted for 7 years without a problem or concern. It provides plenty of hot water, takes up minimal space , and is easy to hook up.

  • Works well, but draining is paining
Style: 2.5Gal
This is a nice compact electric water heater. It heat water nicely -- I have it set to a little below the 125 (Fahrenheit) setting since 125 degrees is pretty hot for washing hands. Plumbing it requires getting your own hardware at Ace, Home Depot, Lowe's, et cetera. It comes with the pressure relief valve, which you also need to install. The main drawback is that the only way to drain the heater is to disconnect its plumbing, unmount it, take it somewhere, then turn it upside down to pour the water out. Not particularly convenient. A lesser drawback is that if it happens to fall a few inches, it will start to drip-drip-drip leak out the bottom - presumably the glass shell inside cracked. This happened to us, and so this purchase was a replacement. Our use is in a campervan, and the heater is mounted over a tub to catch any water if there is a leak. The only leak happened when we bounced over a big rut, and the heater fell into the tub - which is why the replacement. I mounted the new unit more securely, and hope this one lasts at least as long as the first one (4 years). ... show more

  • Instant Hot Waqter
Style: 6kW-White
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Tried a LECLOC brand first and it would not heat the water fast. Tried this brand and was very pleased. Actually had to cut the temperature back. You have hot water in a matter of seconds.

  • Love these mini-tank heaters.
Style: 1.3Gal
To be sure we get instant hot water, I put a mini-tank under every sink in the house about 8 or 9 years ago. We love them and would never do without them again. Best and most cost effective way to get really instant hot water for hand washing, dishes, laundry sink. Only problem is they only last about 6 years or so, so you have to replace them. After about 6 years they begin to leak very slowly underneath. I installed mine sitting in cheap plastic storage tubs under each sink. Use a $10 water alarm in the tub to get early warning of a leak. You have to buy a size and brand that has shape and dimensions to fit under your sink and drain pipes, so plan carefully. I have several different brands and they all leak eventually. But for 6 years you get wonderful warm or hot water to wash your hands in without waiting forever. I've had this exact heater before (except a different brand name) and it has worked very well. Each heater only adds a dollar or two per month to your electric bill. ... show more

  • Not worth your time
Style: 6.0Gal
I really was hoping to like this. Where should I start. As Julie Andrews says, Let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start...... Looked good unboxing it. Noticed the "feet" on the bottom, the front ones seemed broken or too short or something, its wobbly. The cord to plug in is WAY too short. After plugging it in I did not see the indicator light come on. So looked up how to reset it. We'll, this is the ridiculous part. You have to take off all your hoses, empty the water out so you can tilt the heater over to get to bottom of the device and unscrew 6 screws and push the reset button. Well, that was convenient. Now let me put it all back together and place it all back where it was. Might have been smarter to have that button just on the outside of the heater, ya think?! Anyways, plug it back in. No light still. So I read manual again. Said light might not work, which would be odd for a new product. But ok. All the water is flowing and hopefully water heating up. Gave it a good hour. Testing time.............NOPE!! All I see is water dripping out the front by the indicator switch and the water is not hot at all. So that worked well.....ugh! Well that was a fun day. Can I go to bed now. ... show more

  • Great company!
Style: 4.0Gal
Camplux is a good little water heater; I had a plumber put the 4-gallon water heater under a sink; it worked beautifully for a bit, but then it started to leak under the tank itself. I called the plumber, and we realized it was leaking from within. I contacted the company about it, and they were very professional. They took care of my problem quickly and sent out a new one to replace it. It was NOT their fault or my plumber's fault. It happens sometimes; who knows how or why it happen, but again, they were quick to solve my problem. That shows you how Camplux is a great company that stands behind its products. I would buy from them again, and y'all should, too. ... show more
