ordered this after camping with family who had one for the trip. I was so impressed that I had to get one for myself. The light is compact and stores easily bit it extends between 2 and 2 feet when opened. The lights on top open up and provide all kinds of bright light. I can see it for camping and more so when power outages happen. Multi power settings for brightness and a bright flashlight on top. What I want to try is the magnets on the feet to see if that will hang tight under the hood of a truck. Oh yeah, you can charge your phone with this as it includes a strong battery that ought to charge a couple of newer phones. I'd recommend this for sure.

It gets 5 stars, because of its versatility, but I have one small concern. The arms are plastic, the whole thing is, which is fine, but I can definitely see someone that's a little rough with things, breaking them off with ease. When you are pulling out the paddle lights you have to push up from the bottom first, not just pull them out, and I can see this being a problem, especially for those who seem to forget there is resistance for a reason, and young children. However, once you realize this, it isn't a thing at all, so maybe if you have children that might be using it, or that too rough on things person, take a moment and show them how to do it properly. I haven't had a chance to use it in all of its glory, but so far, i am really impressed. One of the frustrating things about table top lanterns are if you don't have a place to hang them, then they are just blinding you , and can cast weird shadows, annoying during puzzles or camp games. The telescoping stand, and sturdy tripod base make it super stable, and now you can raise it up, to cast light down, or aim light where you want or need. The fact that it also serves as a flashlight, has so many different light modes, and the colorful base are just extra, and fun. It's not heavy, but it isn't 'cheap' light either, so I don't really see this as being a good backpacker light, when every ounce matters, but with the charging ability, and its compact, multi functionality...it could be great for that weekend trip. Overall, I am super impressed, and am excited to really put it through its paces during my rv adventures.

I bought this lamp to have on hand in case of power outages and to take with me when we go camping, and it's been an excellent purchase. What I liked most is its versatility. It can be used as a telescopic lamp to illuminate a wide area or as a handheld flashlight, which is very practical when you need to move from one place to another. The light is quite powerful and has different lighting modes, including RGB lights to create a different atmosphere. In addition, the height is easily adjustable, and when not in use, it folds up to take up very little space. Another very useful feature is that it incorporates a 12,000 mAh battery and also works as a power bank to charge your phone, which is very reassuring during a camping trip or if the power goes out at home. The construction feels sturdy, the base is stable, and the product exudes quality. In my experience, it's a very practical item to have at home, in the car, or to take camping.

This was actually a great little light for our camping trip. I don't normally get excited for gadgets like this. But its sorta well built. Time will tell. Why I use "sorta" is that the rubber cap that is over one of the push button switches fell off after 3 days of use. and left a hole and the little switch you need to now stick your finger inside to turn it on n off. I would normally take off 2 to 3 stars as thats a sign of a lack of quality issue long term for sure. But the rest of the gadget seems well built and put together. It could be higher quality yes! But I seen some much lower quality as well. We found out later that the whole bottom of the legs are magnets, So it can be mounted on metal surfaces to stay in place. Overall a cool fun gadget that served its camping light experience well.

I wanted a portable camping light that could do double duty tall enough to light up an area like a standing lamp, but also able to shrink down for tabletop use. This one checks both boxes with an adjustable height from 11 to 38 inches. It’s packed with useful features: a range of color options, different lighting modes including a flashlight setting, and solid battery performance. The four adjustable light panels make it easy to direct light where needed, and the base feels stable for a tripod design. I also appreciate the battery percentage display and USB-C charging. One thing that wasn’t very clear is the purpose of the slots in each tripod leg possibly for securing guy lines but the manual doesn’t explain this beyond listing the included parts. The magnetic base works well for attaching to flat metal surfaces, though it’s not strong enough for more demanding angles like hanging off the side of a vehicle. It’s best used upright as intended. Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed and versatile lighting option. It’s a big upgrade from my old single-color telescoping work light, and I’d recommend it for camping or general outdoor use.

Who Should Buy: A 5-star essential for car campers, RVers, or families needing a reliable power outage hub. Who Should Skip: Ultralight backpackers. At over a pound, this is far too heavy and bulky for hiking. I bought the LUXMO Telescopic Light to stop carrying a separate lantern, power bank, and flashlight. After testing it for three nights in the Smokies and using it during one home power outage, it effectively replaced them all. The standout feature is the 37.8-inch telescopic height. Unlike my old Coleman LED lantern that sits on the table and blinds everyone at eye level, this extends up to create overhead "streetlamp" lighting. It lit our 10x10 cooking area perfectly without any glare, transforming the campsite feel. The 12,000mAh battery is a workhorse, not just a spec on a box. I ran the light on medium brightness for 5 hours and still charged my iPhone 14 from 15% to full using the USB-C port. However, you must respect the physics. Because the light is tall and the tripod legs are lightweight ABS plastic, it becomes top-heavy when fully extended. On uneven ground or in a breeze, it wobbles. I had to weigh the legs down with rocks—a minor inconvenience for the quality of light it provides. The unexpected win was the magnetic base. I assumed it would be weak, but I stuck it horizontally to my car hood to check fluids in the dark, and it held firm with zero slip. It turned a stressful maintenance moment into an easy fix. Verdict: 5/5 - The most versatile lighting hub available for base camps and emergencies.
