  • Excellent Value, Great Tent
Size: Medium
Really like this tent for winter camping. Really appreciate the firemat material in the floor for the stove ... that is super smart. Plenty of space (and I'm 6'2") and the setup is actually very easy. I will offer that I swapped the stakes out for MSR Groundhog (long) stakes. The ones included with the tent are massive ... they are huge ... and heavy. Probably took a pound or more out of the weight with that change. Haven't found any build quality issues. Seams are solid. no pinholes (which compromise waterproof-ness), no funny stitching. I really like this style of tent and the doors at both ends is very functionally sound. Makes getting in and out easy, especially with the stove in. The material is robust and durable, and the tent holds heat as well or better than other hot tents (exception for canvas tents, which hold heat very well). At this price, this is a great deal. Most hot tents cost a LOT more. You can pair this with a Pomoly Ti 0.6 stove, and get away with the pair for less than you'd pay for most stoves alone. ... show more

  • W tent. Would recommend
Size: Medium
W tent. The set up was pretty straight forward and easy to do. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a tent with plenty of room for its size.

  • Heavy and quality.
Size: Medium
This tent is a little heavy but it's very nice. Easy setup only using 2 poles and some stakes. Strong material blocks the wind nicely and doesnt feel like it will tear from something dumb. Has two doors and two air windows, but screen doors and best of all an area for a fireplace. I got this with a titanium stove and it's great for cooking and can make the tent a sweat lodge if you desire. Comfortably fits fireplace +2 + gear. Or would fit up too 4 without anything else inside. ... show more

  • Highly recommended for winter campers
Size: Medium
I’ve had this tent for about six months now, and I’m still genuinely impressed with it. When I was shopping around, this model kept popping up. I wanted a traditional A‑frame tent but also needed something compatible with a wood stove for winter camping, so the built‑in stove jack and fireproof mat were big selling points. The price didn’t hurt either—most tents with a similar design cost three to four times as much. I’ve used it in hot late‑summer weather and in sub‑30° winter conditions. In the summer, the two large doors and side vents provide excellent airflow. In the winter, those same vents pull in fresh air for the stove without making the tent drafty. The seams are well‑constructed and feel durable, and if you fold it properly, the whole thing packs down into a surprisingly small, lightweight bag. A couple realities to keep in mind: the canvas doesn’t insulate, so in winter you’ll want that stove going. In summer, if you’re in direct sun, the tent heats up fast. That’s just the nature of the material. I’ve camped in both rain and snow, and as long as you keep your gear off the tent walls, everything stays dry. Overall, it’s been a reliable, budget‑friendly tent that performs well across seasons. ... show more

  • Value
Size: Medium
Good value for the price point! I didn’t use the stove I purchased as of yet. Waiting for fall. With a queen Air mattress it is a wee bit tight. I would also recommend something under the tents poles and n the inside of the tent. All - in - all, it’s a good product!

  • Doorway has no way of sealing. Cold FAST.
Size: Medium
It’s okay, packs very compact, stakes are decent quality, but for a hot tent, for cold, windy nights, why does it not seal at the doors? There is a mesh netting that zips all the way shut, but for some reason they didn’t think to install a zipper for the solid fabric cover over the mesh door, meaning wind and moisture can get in very easily. I had a very hot fire in my stove, slept on the opposite side of the tent with my wife and baby closer towards the inside. My bedding was freezing from the wind blowing into the tent. When fire goes out during sleep, the tent does not retain any heat whatsoever because it isn’t closed. Wind penetrates and blows through both sides of the tent. Ended up sleeping in our truck for the night after 3 AM because the tent would not stay warm enough unless I got the stove red hot. Once the fire got weaker, the tent got much colder, FAST. ... show more

  • Works for the price.
Size: Medium
Tent is easy to set up. Be aware, it has a single pole at the peak at both ends so getting in and out is cramped. It's definitely water proof and warm, I had a two mantle lantern inside and it kept the chill off. The downside is there are no air vents up high so the condensation buildup is intense. I ended up cutting a vent hole in the outer door to let some air through. A double zipper would have helped. Allowing the outer flap to be unzipped from the top down slightly. I am 6' tall and there is room for a single person inside if you have a stove or any sort of gear with you. I woke up to 4" of snow that collapsed the wet cold tent onto me, ripping one of the poles through the shell. I had to shovel the snow off and reset up and rig up a repair at 2am. Two suggestions: air vents up high to let out the condensation and at least one set of poles to make one of the entrances a "V" setup like a traditional wedge tent to make getting in or out easier. ... show more

  • Best Hot Tent We’ve Tried So Far (Actually Does Its Job)
Size: Medium
For a hot tent this size and level of build quality, the weight is exactly what you’d expect (around that 10–15 lb range), so I have zero complaints there. Venting is a little less than ideal, but once we got the stove going and figured out our setup, it worked just fine and stayed comfortable. There’s also plenty of room inside for what we needed, and the overall construction is way better than the other 3 hot tents we tested before this one. Honestly, this is the only tent I’ve bought in a long time that actually did its job the way it should. ... show more
