I read so many reviews and went with this one. It DID take 5ish hours to charge (said 4-5 hrs on the instructions) so allow yourself time to charge. I only used it on setting 2 for one night and in the morning it only went from 100 perfect charged to 75 percent charged. Worked great! Hung on the ceiling of the tent for some airflow. The person in the middle of three had the best spot but we also had neck fans and a hand fan that lasted all night too that are a diff brand. Might buy another to have two in the tent! ... show more

Wish I could rate this fan 9.99 stars - no not a misprint. The fan is easily portable and well built. Haven't used the timer yet but have no doubt it works just as well as the other features. The only things I don't like are strictly personal opinion about the remote. First, take it out of the holder and look at the back. If you look closely at the battery tray, you'll see a micro screw about the size of an atom (joking, kinda) on the left side. This has to come out to change the battery. Careful not to lose it. Second, the slot to hold the remote faces the back of the unit. Makes it a little awkward to remove and replace. Oh well, I said personal opinion. Now for my wish to rate it out of the park. That's due to superb, above and beyond customer service. When I first got the fan, my klutziness caused me to have some problems in operation. I contacted the company and found them to be understanding, courteous and highly helpful throughout several contacts. All the time without any hint of exasperation at any point.
