This stabilizer was used with a Waterbrick that holds 3.5 gallons, therefore, I used just 28 drops per container.     • Decent product
This did ok in my first batch of water preservation. It forms a red cloud in the water, so when we needed to use our stash (due to a house waterline break), we wasted a bit of water cycling to the clear stuff. We did use it to flush the toilets, so not a total waste, but I didn't want to drink it.

These are pretty powerful drops. I have not quite gallon jugs and use only 2 drops after I have cleaned the jug with super hot water. I put the drops in carefully and then fill the jugs with super hot water and then leave it for a couple of days. Putting more than 2 drops makes the water taste chemically. I have discovered the correct amount of drops and have great tasting water now. ... show more
