It's kinda small but I'm not a big guy either(112lbs). If you are a big guy consider more expensive and heavier capacity. I'm thinking of getting a pair of clutch and see which one work better. For a long distance walk, it may better to have clutch. By the way, I'm suffering inability to walk from covid-19 vaccine. After two knee surgeries, and being rather elderly, I decided it may be best to keep a cane with me just in case I needed some stability. I keep it in the trunk of the car. It has a nice little case and is easy to open and pop together when I need it. My husband has used it so it is not too feminine for a man. It is a great cane! ... show more

This is a fairly lightweight cane, and that’s nice for hiking which is what I ordered it for. My biggest problem is that it’s not easy to keep it folded when you aren’t using it. You have to tie it up or use a rubber band, this isn’t convenient when you are trying to put it up and get it out in the middle of hiking. Also, it’s a little unstable every once in a while. We took this on my Dad’s first long distance trip in many years. It was so perfect for the plane and for any walking he had to do. Easy to fold up and put away when not in use. Sturdy enough that I didn’t have to worry about him falling down. We both loved it and we’re glad we purchased.

My wife used this cane after she tore a tendon in her foot. She loved this cane, said it was strong, sturdy, lightweight and even had a small rope loop at the handle to hang it on a doorknob. Easy to use, light, they look fine, good price. With my neuropathy, they're providing mostly balance (I often use 2). I can see, however, that they could come up short if used in a weight-bearing situation.
