Perfect for the price. I can understand why serious users would be unhappy with it - the battery fits loosely into the charger and you need to fiddle with it to get good contact, rather than seating firmly into place. It comes with no directions, just a lot of dire warnings about what not to do in order to minimize safety concerns. If you have a workshop full of tools or you're a professional builder or carpenter, you should probably spring for the brand name charger instead of this one. That being said: I won a really nice Milwaukee Electric Tool emergency lantern at a charity auction, and got a bit salty when I realized that I'd have to drop $90 on a charger just to use the darned thing. This is ideal for what I need, I recharged my partly-depleted battery easily without breaking the bank . I did pay attention to the safety warnings; rather than plugging in the charger in the basement or garage I plugged it in at my desk where I could keep an eye on it while I worked, and unplugged it when the light turned green. Satisfied with my purchase.

Put one of the batteries in my Dewalt drill and it definitely needed charged. Tried to pull off, depressing the locking mechanism and couldn't get battery off my drill. Had to get my neighbor to help. Took about half hour. Had to pry it out with a screw driver. Luckily didn't crack my plastic on my drill. Have started return process!!
