Seller sent a brand new item as a replacement free of charge. I'm increasing my review to 4 stars, but not 5 because they sent me a dirty used one first. The cooler works well and keeps food cold for about 3 days. Pretty good for the price. The lid will close by itself, which is an annoyance, but otherwise it's a good unit. Dirt and stains on the inside and some minor scratching on the outside bottom. The dirt inside the bottom was worse than what was on the lid, but didn't show up very well in the pic. No paperwork. Middle schooler used this on a school overnight to keep food cold for the entire trip. Used ice packs (see my reviews for what was used) and kept everything cold for about 36 hours. Kept water, veggies, sandwich, even cream cheese, cold. The size was right. Was concerned it would be too big but smaller size wouldn't have held the food and enough ice packs. Would have been too crowded. This allowed for extra ice packs, but not too big or bulky for a middle schooler to carry along with his suitcase. It's the right size to take in the car for road trips that I definitely will do in the future. Even if just out for the day in the summer, can leave water or snacks in the car in the sun without it being hot or melted when you return a couple hours later. Easy to open and close, nice color. PROS: Size is right for day trip or overnight for one or two people Color is bright Easy to open Easy to carry Price is reasonable Very sturdy - should hold up well CONS: Hard-sided, which means if trying to squeeze it in a car packed for a day trip, will need to plan for where it can go and get access to easily ... show more

Perfect size for two/three people for sandwiches and drinks. You put things in it to find them fast instead of having to open your larger coolers and search for one item. When we’re traveling, my husband puts it in the back seat in-between the larger coolers so we can grab whatever from the front seat fast without having to stop, i.e., bottled water, sandwich. I saw reviews about the lid not staying open. I experienced the same thing until I put the handle of the cooler in the front and when open the handle can be pulled up to the lid and it stays open. It’s the perfect size for my needs. Good value for the money and keeps things cold. It’s small enough to carry but large enough to hold quite a bit. I use on my front porch for delivery drivers since I live in the desert and it’s extremely hot right now. Getting in and out of a vehicle must hard in the heat, even if they are in an AC equipped vehicle. Whoops, off topic. It’s a really nice cooler, with a trusted name and works as it is designed to.
