I love that little town and Mae and Hank but feel that rehashing in each book of the history. Love the laundromat group and how fast the news travels. Have become a fan.

I like Mae and her friends, but dang, she gets it wrong more often than not. She seems to overlook someone and keeping a whiteboard in the office anyone can see helps the killers, if they happen to enter the office. Mae usually finds the killer, after they threaten her with bodily harm. However, her need to interfere in Hank's cases does help him and the gals are funny. Makes me want to go camping, maybe. ... show more

These are fun, and they’re perfect for the Hallmark channel. They’re trite fluff churned out quickly without editing or consistency between stories. It was cute, at first, but eventually it was grating.
