I bought this to use for the solar eclipse. I’m only 5”6’ but my son is 6”4’. There are a couple items to put on the tripod. When we got to the beach he put it together. Only took a minute, very easy. I wanted to look at the eclipse but it obviously set too high for me. A step stool would be great. When he set it up he wasn’t sure but when he attached the camera 👍. It was comfortable, he could make minor adjustments. He loved it and he took All the pictures. He was like a little kid at Christmas. He took ALL the pictures.Only one bad thing is I feel like I lost my camera to him and my grandson 🤷♀️.

arrived in two days, packaged well, works flawlessly and the hight is perfect. im 6’3” and i can use it with out having to bend down. that was the selling point. IT ALSO HAS TWO BASE PLATES so i can mount one to my spotting scope and the second for the cellphone holder piece for family photos. Now everyone is in the picture! I originally bought this for my spotting scope to take shooting. Which it preforms just as I wanted to, but now I’ll bring it on the family camping trips as well. When collapsed and in its bag it takes up no space at all and is very very light. I feel it’s built well and very rigid. It’s very thin material so I would be careful with it but still use it. Can’t beat the price at all. My only complaint is the up and down motion is extremely stiff even with it loosened all the way. The other motions left and right and the tilt feature are effortless and smooth. All motions have individual locking knobs to lock every joint in place keeping a perfect sight picture on your target even when bumped. Love it

Packs up very well under my back pack so I can be hands free. It comes with two attachments so you can attach it to a go pro as well as your camera and not have to detach it. It also moved around well has a level on it and you cab turn your camera vertical or horizontal.

I have two of these to record my daughters Club Volleyball season. I still have the first one, but on a flight to a travel tournament I realized I had forgotten the tripod. No problem, pulled up Amazon on the plane, ordered a new one and it was delivered to the hotel 4 hours later. Honestly no issues with the tripod other than this one has something, like a small screw or piece of debris, trapped in one of the legs so when you turn the thing upside down and right side up you can hear something tumbling around inside of the leg. My big issue is with the carrying case. It is straight up garbage. This weekend I had the bag hanging to provide a little weight (with a small phone recharge pack inside it) on the weight hook. The bag took a ball hit and completely ripped the strap from the bag, destroying the zipper along with it. No Problem... I have 2. I'll just use the other bag. Well I got home from a tournament last night and to my surprise that bag is also already starting to rip from just being carried around over the last several months. so long story short... its a decent inexpensive tripod that works great for mounting my iphone to record volleyball games. Its not heavy duty, but will get the job done for most amateurs or enthusiasts (like myself). The bag/carry case is trash and will need to be replaced as its made of tin foil.

There are more sturdy tripods out there, but not with this level of versatile collapsibility. The ball-joint feet sit on soft ground rather than stabbing in like pegs. The bubble level is useful, every articulation has a friction adjustment, and there is a hook under the camera pylon to hang something heavy, so the whole tripod doesn't blow over in high wind. Fair purchase for the price.

Adequate tripod if you are shooting with your phone or a small camera. Great height adjustment, hook to add a stability weight. Quick-release mounting plate. Comes with a 1/4" mounting screw so check your equipment requirements before ordering. While it says max weight capacity is 15 pounds, I put my 11 pound telescope on it. And after checking that every knob and adjustment possible was tight, the telescope still wobbled around like a drunken sailor. So iPhone and items lightweight like that should be no problem. Go with something heavier? I would look elsewhere (like I did) and actually order a heavy duty tripod that is actually built for heavy duty if you are putting any kind of weight on it. I'll keep this just because I can use it with my Nikon and my iPhone (it comes with a phone holder adapter).
