These little camera covers are perfect for my needs. Previously I had been putting Post-It tape flags over my cameras after reading some articles about people using webcams to spy on others. The tape flags would lose stickiness, especially since I do video calls on my devices and the tape flags were being removed and replaced repeatedly, so they'd stop sticking and I'd have to put on new ones. Now I can just slide this camera cover open and shut and it stays in place! The instructions were not clear about how long to hold them to make them stick, but after a few tries they stayed and have remained in place ever since. I lost a couple of these becasue the tape wasn’t sticking and another the sticky tape came off with the backing. It was hard to put on with the fumbling so I’d suggest some tweezers to get it in the right spot. They are not plastic, more like a card stock paper. There was a number of them in the package though, and I’ve had this one in place for a couple of weeks or more and I’m pleased with it. I bought these due to some paranoia on my part. I felt the need to cover the camera but didn't want anything big or bulky. This is small and the space design on it fits my hobby of astronomy. Even the cover on my MacBook has a space theme (not a corny one-rather one that shows a true image taken by the Hubble telescope). One of the photos I've attached shows a closeup of it covering my camera. The other shows it open. It easily slides open/closed and is quite small so it doesn't interfere with the privacy screen I have covering my screen. I highly recommend these camera covers. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are small, need to place them Just right. I have tried another brand that was hard to move and keep coming off. These stick great and they slide really easy. No interference with closing my surface!.
