    • Good Pictures
I collect cameos and found pictures that helped me identify many of mine. The book is filled with pictures of all types of cameos, even plastic ones. It also lists prices that give an idea of value. It does not provide much in the way of history or research.

    • Cameo book ok
Format: Paperback
This book has a lot of pictures, but not much info on cameos. It basically tells you to learn by looking at cameos. Wish there was more information on dates, styles, etc. Pictures are good, prices informative.

    • Very educational book on Cameos.
Format: Paperback
I bought this book & another from Amazon to educated myself on Cameos. Very informative. Easy to ready. I now feel I can go out & purchase a cameo & know if I am buying shell, glass, plastic, etc.

    • More price guide than information
Format: Paperback
I was hoping for a history of cameos and their making. I wanted to know what materials and methods were used. This is just a few words and a lot of pictures. I have no idea if the prices are stable enough to use the book once it is out of date. Pretty pictures but not much information.

    • good addition to library on cameos
This isn't as comprehensive as some other books on cameos but it has short, helpful explantions that augment other books I have on the subject.

    • Cameos guide
Format: Paperback
This is a great resource with quality pictures. Price guides for these items are hard to find especially at this price.

    • More entertainment than reference.
Format: Paperback
Good book if you are looking for example photos. Don't expect "collector" knowledge that lets you ID or evaluate age, vale, etc. I was disappointed compared to other "guide" type references for things I collect.
