I like this product because, for me, I'd rather not wear a backpack-style hydration pack but I do sometimes ride enough that the bottle I carry on my frame isn't enough. So this product solves for that scenario, which was my primary concern. However, the amount of storage in the pockets is minimal, specifically if you want to carry your phone in it, which is what I was hoping for. Technically, I can put my phone, car key and a small tool or two in here, but it would be super tight fit. All the other items will constantly apply pressure to the body of your phone and that pressure is just one small movement away from scratching/cracking your phone. I'm using this for mountain biking, so small movements are constant and bigger movements are a constant possibility. So I'd strongly suggest not buying this if you want to put your phone in it, unless that's about all you want to carry in it. I know that phone storage isn't an advertised feature, but any company selling storage solutions like this should know that the one thing that the statistical majority of people will end up carrying is a phone. As it stands, I now use the pocket to only carry my phone and a key fob (if I drive to a trail head), and that has served me well, albeit on less than a dozen rides so far. ... show more

This is a great fanny pack, couple of zipper pockets, fairly minimalist design. Love the bottle holder idea. I use it for mountain biking. My only complaint is the sideways water bottle kinda rubs the chubby part of my back right torso area a little bit. It's not overwhemling, but I notice it. I'll keep the pack, and try a little harder to get rid of the love handles instead. ... show more

This is a great pack. I found it comfortable and able to hold a large phone. It would be suitable for cycling and hiking. For running, I found it ok when full, but annoying when partially full. I called it 4 stars because it barely fits a phone. I don't think I could carry necessary tools, a tube, and a phone. Just a half Liter more would be an improvement. ... show more

I have primarily used this for mountain biking for the last couple of weeks and I'm quite impressed with this hip pack. I never had a hip pack and wanted to try one out but not spend a lot of money for the ones that have built in water reservoirs. So this Camelbak fit the bill. I can stick my wallet, keys, cell phone, crankbros multi tool, and a small snack for rides on the trail. The water bottle is a little small in terms of fluid ounces so I use it in my bike frame (have a full suspension so its perfect) and use anywhere between 22-24 fluid ounce water bottle in the Camelbak. I read some reviews where they said they couldn't put the bottle back in one handed and I disagree. I am able to put my water bottle back in while riding by twisting it back and forth while pushing it down. It's pretty easy to put the water bottle back in the pack. The only minor inconvenience that I seen is sometimes it feels like its gonna slide down past my butt but once I tighten the strap (its hard to put on super tight), it generally doesn't move. Overall this pack fits my needs when I don't need to bring a full blown Camelbak on my mountain bike rides. Highly recommend. ... show more
