It's hard to find a woman's ski coat that does what it's supposed to do and yet look attractive on you. THIS coat is a dream come true because the coat not only keeps you toasty warm you look stylish in it as well. As a vet what caught my eye was it was 'military grade' . . . trust me that told me it would be as close to the gear I wore overseas where gear would either save or sink you from the weather. The other thing I liked about the coat is that you can adjust the thickness by removing the inner shell. I love cross country skiing. I can't wait to get out in my new coat. DON'T size up.

It's a bit bulkier then I was expecting from the advertisement. But it's warm and has a good range of motion which I need for my work. I'd hesitate to order a smaller size...because of it's mobility...but still feels too big.

I've been looking for the perfect jacket to use especially one with a lot of pockets and water proof. It's an extra bonus that the inside can be separated to not only have just a warm fleece jacket alone but the outer jacket becomes a windbreaker/rain coat put them together and you have a snuggly ski jacket 😊 I really have 4 jackets in one!

Since it is September in the Northeast, I can't give a review if the coat performed well under extreme winter weather. Why it was given a 4 since I can't test it completely. The coat fits well, seems rugged enough, and the zipper moves properly. Lots of pockets a plus. The color is a very dark grey, almost black. To give an idea of the sizing (hopefully this'll help) I purchased a XL; I am 5', 170 lbs.
