  • Great Hiking Shoes
Size: 11 Color: Khaki
One of the most comfortable, easy to break in hiking shoes I have purchased. For the cost they exceeded my expectations.

  • Fit true to size & comfortable
Size: 10 Color: Olive Green
I bought these shoes to wear on a trip to Spain for light to moderate trail & pavement hiking. My foot usually fits comfortably in a mens size 10 so I decided to purchase size 10 and this shoe fits just fine, ample space in the toe box. Right out of the box I walked a 5k on pavement and found the shoes to be comfortable, not heavy, easily could have kept on walking. The material of the sole is flexible and grips to smooth/wet surfaces, I have no experience with ice so cannot comment on that. I felt stable and secure walking in these shoes, so far I am pleased with my purchase, good value for the money. ... show more

  • I'm very happt with these shoes
Size: 8 Color: Olive Green
I'm very happy with these shoes. The fit is perfect, I like their style, and they are very comfortable. One thing I don't like: the laces don't stay tied. The laces look very good, but for some reason, they won't stay tied. I went out to the drug store and bought some replacement laces, and now they stay tied. The cheap laces don't look as cool as the original laces, but I'd rather the laces stay tied. ... show more

  • BOUGHT A SECOND PAIR
Size: 11.5 Color: Grey
I bought a pair of these shoes about 6 months ago. I liked them so much I bought a second pair about 4 months later. Rotating between the two will make them last longer and stay in better condition. These are my "going to town" shoes. Added 7/25/23 - I rotated the first 2 pairs for about 6 months and then stepped into hot asphalt (116 degrees in Phoenix) with one of them. I cleaned the tar off as best I could but that pair is now designated as an around-the-yard pair of garden (work) shoes. The nice thing about buy-it-again is I simply chose that option, picked a different trim color, and ordered a third pair. As long as they sell these shoes, they will be my daily wearer and my go-to-town casual dress shoes. Dependable quality and fit. They look good, feel good, fit well and seem to last. Thus, 5 stars all around. ... show more

  • Run small
These are mediocre at best. I first bought my size but they were too small so returned for a whole size bigger and fit ok. I've been using Merrril's for many years and thought I'd try these for comparison. No comparison. One shoe fits a little tight on my left toe and looks a little crooked from manufacturing. I should have returned them but didn't notice until I went out hiking. Bottom line, if you're not too picky and they fit ok then you're good to go. Don't expect a really comfortable fitting shoe. ... show more

  • Look and Comfort
Size: 8.5 Color: Dark Gray
These shoes are stylish, unique, and very comfortable!

  • Light, comfortable.
Size: 8.5 Color: Olive Green
I just bought these for trail run training shoes. The construction is good. No problems with stitching etc. They ran me a bit large but I figure with compression socks and swollen feet after more than 5K it should work out ok. Haven't had any blisters which was a concern. After adjusting the lacing, they performed well. The price point is right on atarget for an affordable training shoe. ... show more

  • Sturdy but not much cushioning
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Gray
[EDIT 7/19/19] The shoes feel better now, I've lost some weight and my feet don't hurt at all after a mile walk. I still use my Asics Ortholite shoes for longer walks but as I'm getting used to these Camel Crowns I am liking them a lot more than when I first tried them. I expect them to be durable. They seem to be well constructed but I won't know for sure until I've had them at least a year or two, if then. That's because I can't walk very far in them and so I won't be going for long walks with them. Less than a mile on pavement and my feet were hurting. I should be able to walk at least 4 or 5 miles before my feet hurt anywhere near that much. Perhaps I need to realize the difference between a true walking shoe and one more for hiking (woods, mountains, hills). These are very stiff, all around and as tough as they seem to be, I can see why some might like them. Worn on much younger feet and/or by someone weighing less than 200+ lbs they might be very nice hiking shoes. Here is what I think might be wise for anyone who can't afford to buy three pair of shoes in order to get one pair that satisfies... Buy local, break them in and test them. Then if that model works for you, look online and see how much you can save. In order to properly test shoes you need to try them out a bit and for some shoes you need more than a few minutes to get a good feel for them. ... show more
