I know it's a cheap price and you get what you pay for, but c'mon, this thing isn't even worth 40 cents, let alone $40. Jokes on me I guess, since I was performing some intensive work on my car and the radio doesn't rise above safety. At least not for me anyways. So the return window is closed. The volume knob seems to be having some sort of connection issue or something. Because I couldn't seem to get my speakers to play anything. So I rip the WHOLE interior of my car apart and start tracing and checking all the connection, again. Couldn't find anything wrong. So I think maybe the settings might be the issue. So I start going thru all the options and menus on the head unit. Which is also frustrating as hell, because I can only seem to be able to bring up a couple of the menus after touching the icons. All the other ones will not do anything. I'll touch them and nothing happens. Literally only two of them actually did something, but I still couldn't get my speakers to work. So I start troubleshooting the amp, speakers, the whole system. As I'm trying to play something and was cycling thru the inputs by pushing the power button above the volume knob, I touched the volume knob and heard a crackle. So I start turning the knob (No, it wasn't because the volume was just turned down. It was at about 25 through all my troubles.) At certain points I could get the speakers to work, if I held the knob a certain way. Obviously not gonna be feasible while driving. Being as I can't return it, I'm stuck with it. I guess I'll have to take it apart and see if it might be a weak solder joint or something that's detectable amd fixable. Well see. But I wish that I never bothered with this garbage. Rear view camera doesn't work either. Looks like China got me again. Don't make the same mistakes as I have, stay away from this head unit.

I honestly have mixed emotions about this thing. It works though! For now anyways. Can't complaint about the price either. The quality feels cheap. Cheap plastic, metals and wires. Wires feel cheap but seems to have everything and color coated correctly. I only used the basics. No issues with touch screen as of now. Little to no delay on the touch screen. Fitment. God awful. Not a standard US double din size? The stereo didn't fit in the in the bezel/mounting kit I bought. Had to trim the faceplate just to make it fit. Had to modify the mounting hole locations on the mounting kit due to the fact that stereos mount hard aren't in a standard location. I had to do very minor trimming on the hole of my vehicle, but I don't blame the stereo for that. I'm sure every make/model will very a little on what has to be done but be mentally prepared for what may need to be done and hope for a standard, normal installation. For the price, it's hard to complain but wasn't mentally prepared for the frustration that happened. It's only been 1 day since install. Will update in the future if need be. *update 10-11-24* everything it still going decent. Touch screen is still working what the quality that it is. New gripe is i can only go to 20 on the volume know. After that, it gets super distorted. Still a decent cheap option for my cheap daily driver. Don't expect high quality though. *Update 4-16-25* Sadly this stereo is not with us anymore. My vehicle was involved in a motor accident back if February of this year. It was a dark morning driving into work at 5am. Was jamming out to music like i always do on my way in. Everything from my first portion of the review is still valid for quality and sound btw. Came up to a 4 way stop as I always do. Went to turn left into my works parking lot and someone ran their stop sign and t-boned me. As I start coming out of my daze from the initial impact, my music is still blaring! But, couldn't handle the music at that point in time. After a minute of just sitting there, trying to comprehend what just happened. I reach over to turn the volume down. As I'm turning the volume down, the volume knob falls off in my hand as the volume level hits zero. RIP. This will be my final update for the tragic ending of this stereo and wanted to share it's final moments with it.
