This product is easy to install and works great. So far it has handled wind gusts of over 30 mph with no difficulty. I have a 38 ft RV and live in the high desert. This is a windy place and can get pretty bad in the winter. However I feel confident that I will not have to worry about my awning this year.     • A bit awkward to install
It's hard to get it to stay in place while tightening the anchor straps. We ended up installing in the middle of the awning instead of on the edge as shown.

I was amazed at how sturdy and effective the kit was. I take my RV to the open country of western Oklahoma often. I never bothered to deploy my awning due to the extreme and virtually constant winds. Very simple and effective. Help my awning securely. Took it off to roll my awning up and the wind destroyed my awning in 2 seconds. It was fine with it attached. Buy two and sell one to your next camping neighbor at an inflated cost:)

    • Quality went down hill.
I've been camping for 30 summers and have bought these straps several times. But lately the quality went downhill. The hardware rusts up straightaway and the webbing material now degrades in the sun to the point of breaking in only 2 summers.
