So comfy!! Easy assembly. Cushions are very thick and stuffed with dense padding. I did add a waterproof sticker over the exposed bolt holes and rubber protective feet since this is real wood, and applied a heavy layer of scotchgard to the cushions and pillows. Did not have a large amount of space to work with as back wall was interrupted by the entrance door so just by happenstance my eye caught this item. I read the reviews of several different similar type fold down settees/sofa's but liked the fact that there were complementary items in same color of weathered gray that would pull my porch together. Plus, I'd rather splurge a bit on something that I know I will probably enjoy having. I got the blue color and it is blue - was expecting the 'spruce' greenish color that some reviewers had gotten, but mine was a true soft calm light blue. I'll only need to put one end down if I chose to lie down. Both ends are easy to maneuver - just a slight pull up to have end/arm rest lie flat and up as it locks back into place. I added another 20x20 pillow w/ whale motif and a daisy shaped soft pillow for my dog to rest his head on the side since he monopolizes it most of the time anyway. I'm relegated to the Cambridge rocker - which is nice as it has a modern look to it and doesn't take up a huge front print either. I don't have massive space so these pieces along w/ the round end table are just perfect! ... show more

Feels like sitting on a board and the seat is too deep to be comfortable so I had to add pillows in the back. Will also be replacing cushion. High quality wood, comfortable and thick cushions, and easy to assemble. I did a lot of research for a lay flat outdoor couch and I choose the right one. It is expensive but based on other’s positive reviews and seeing for myself, the price tag is worth the high quality you are getting.
