Description

Calyx Interiors' Cordless Honeycomb 9/16" Cell Blackout Shades are the perfect choice if safety or ease of use are a primary concern. Because there are no cords on these shades, they are an excellent choice if you have children in the home. Moreover, they offer excellent insulation problems and the block out the light. These are a wonderful choice for a bedroom, bathroom, TV room or anywhere where you want to block out the light, which of course saves on summer heating bills. This shade is a great insulator in the winter too, as its honeycombs trap cold air.

Really happy with our purchase
Color: Blackout White Size: 35.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
These are a great alternative to custom blinds that cost hundreds. They were super easy to install and have "held up" great. They do a nice job of blocking out the daylight also.

Perfect for watching video and streaming series with outside glare in the windows
Color: Blackout White Size: 33.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
I bought it to reduce the glare from outside light and these work perfectly. I bought five and used both inside and outside mounts. Suggest you pay particular attention to the width measurement, as that is not negotiable when you are trying to install it inside a window frame. The black baffling inside the white material really does a great job of preventing any light from getting in. Easy to install and since they just pull up and down, there’s no worry with cords or anything to goof up. ... show more

SIZE- Order the widest size that will fit in your window because light will leak through the sides. Normal, to be expected. The measurement is accurate and the brackets snap in from behind/top so no extra side room is needed to account for them. DO NOT BREAK THE LIP WHEN INSTALLING- Go watch that guys video review before installing. Using a flat head screwdriver to widen the latch just a touch is key. I definitely broke one of my blinds and had to move the brackets over for them to land on a non broken part of the lip. INSTALLATION-If you can see down into the top of the blinds when securing, that’s ideal. You’ll be able to see if you’re pushing in enough before pushing up and securing the clasp. Doing it blind is way harder and riskier. QUALITY- All in all, quality is good for the price. Ease of installation is great too..once you know what to look for. COLOR- I like that they’re not stark white. They’re a bit pale grey with white top and bottom rails. My only complaint- there are small pin hole spots where the blackout layer isn’t. Maybe that’s a quality control thing? For the price, it doesn’t bother me.. I also am not trying to remove these things any time soon! ... show more

Really Truly Black Out Blinds
Color: Blackout White Size: 30.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
We LOVE that these really are black out blinds, with the inside of the cells actually being black. I needed to replace 1 cellular shade due to a small, fuzzy inhabitant of our home, but decided to just get 2. I am truly glad I did! One of our windows faces the east, so direct sunlight in the a.m., and the other faces south - still enough light at night (due to car headlights) to want a room darkening solution. I highly recommend these blinds. The outer fabric is soft, not hard or unusually stiff and they open and close very smoothly. Very happy with our purchase! ... show more

Great blinds!
Color: Blackout White Size: 34-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
easy to put up and work well. Just couldn't figure out how to put them up and have them even on both sides. With a little searching, apparently you can pull them down again and have them even when they go back up!

Crooked
Color: Blackout White Size: 27.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
Review Image by Mariemc Mariemc
I installed the shade fairly easily and it’s definitely blackout, which is nice. It seems like decent quality. That being said, it’s crooked! No amount of tugging on one side or the other will make the bottom straighten out. I’ve tried. It makes me want to return it because that’s quite unslightly. But that’ll be such a hassle to uninstall and repackage ... show more

Very good quality and value. works well to block light and increase privacy
Color: Blackout White Size: 34.5-Inch Width by 60-Inch Height
I purchased two shades. They were very easy to install; the snap retainer clips were a bit stubborn to catch the shade. However, with a bit of persistence the clips "clicked" and hold the shades well. The covering cloth fabric is nice and the shades are very effective at blocking sunlight and street light. I recommend these shades. ... show more
