I really liked this coat and thought that the bottons on the side made it look that much cute BUT mine came and it didn't have them! I was disappointed because if I buy something that is shown in the images, that's what I expect to get. I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back so I kept it. Really like this jacket! I like that the puffs are more herringbone vs horizontal. Feels more slimming. The color is really beautiful and goes with so many things. I ended up getting a large, but am usually a medium. Living in northern WI, we often always have a sweatshirt on under winter jackets. The L fits perfectly over multiple layers. It is very thick and thus very warm. Probably almost as warm as my north face winter jacket. The sleeves have a tighter bottom near your hands which I love. It keeps the warmth in and the cold air out. The inside is SO soft, truly butter soft. The main zipper is big and easy to function - would be helpful for elder hands or stiff hands. The only thing I don’t love is the hood. It is so puffy that I feel like it never sits right on my shoulders. Driving in the car I feel like I can’t even check a blind spot unless I physically move it it’s just so puffy. I am weird about hoods so maybe it’s just me, but something to note. I ordered the XL, which is normally a comfortable size for me, but this coat runs a bit small. I can close it, but I probably wouldn't often, especially if I imagine wearing a thicker sweater underneath. Other reviewers seem to have had the same experience, so definitely consider sizing up. It also is snug around the wrists which helps not let cold air in and I'm fine with, but I know some people might be seriously bothered by that in a sensory way. One helpful detail: there are three snap buttons on each side of the coat that you can undo to loosen the lower section. When I unsnapped them, it did make zipping it easier, but it still wasn’t quite the relaxed fit I expect from an XL. They’re a nice feature, though, for people who need a little extra room around the hips or want more mobility. Fit aside, the coat itself is extremely well made. The stitching and zipper feel high-quality, the design looks sleek, and the coat is impressively warm. I wore it on a cold, wet day in the mid-30s (rain flirting with snow), and stayed completely comfortable. The length helps block wind and drizzle, and it insulates well without feeling overly heavy. The hood was also great for the weather, and the black fur liner on the inside wasn't excessive but made it feel snug and warm. I'm in love with the pockets especially. There's two pretty roomy exterior pockets and a decently sized interior pocket that’s actually practical. It’s nice to have a coat that can genuinely hold essentials without feeling bulky. Overall, despite running small, this is a stylish, warm, and well-constructed puffer coat. Just size up if you prefer a comfortable fit or plan on wearing layers underneath. ... show more
