To preface, I'm from the South and I haven't owned a proper winter coat in years. I got this coat to survive a few days of Midwest winter while traveling to visit family for the holidays. Little did I know at the time that it would be a -30 degree windchill the day we arrived. Wearing a hoodie + this jacket, I was plenty toasty going from the airport to the car, loading/unloading bags, and standing outside enjoying the snow for short bursts. I wasn't outside long, but I'm confident this jacket would have kept me warm had I been out much longer. This jacket looks really nice on my hubby. He is 6’2” and weighs 220lbs. The XL fit perfectly. It’s warm but easy to move around and drive in. It seems to be made very well and I think the price was great for the quality of this jacket .
