We liked this book— read it often and it has lead to lots of extended conversations and activities. The book is simple w clear pictures of tools and playground equipment. We have noticed how our real playground is put together, we have made our own w recycled materials, noticed how screw/screwdriver works… If we could do anything, what would we have in the best playground in the world!!! Stuff like that :) Playgrounds are in their worlds. This book can be part of a fun exploration :) ... show more

I bought this just to complete the set of 4. Like the others, the book is sturdy cardboard and the art is simple yet appealing. It's just not my grandson's favourite because it doesn't have enough heavy machinery in it. He prefers tractors and trucks and so on.

It is an interesting concept to bring STEM to the youngest readers.
