This was at a price I could afford. I would've been happy with it but it was almost impossible to get the footboard to connect with the bed. Two men had to manhandle it to get the screw holes to properly align. Also, there's are some rust spots where the paint came off right out of the box. I am an older woman and had to pay a neighbor to use his dolly to haul the frame up the stairs. It was heavy. Then, my nephew came over to assemble it once I got it out the box. He worked hard and was sweating so I paid him too. Anyway, I saw that the paint had come off but it was too heavy and costly for me to return it. So i've just made due. The rest of the bed fit together just fine and I would have been happy with this purchase if it were not from the problematic footboard. I don't recommend taking a chance on this. ... show more

I love this bed frame! Sturdy, very easy to assemble. No movement of the bed getting in nor in tossing and turning. At 18" high I can use it to store many items under it and with a bed skirt they are well out of the way.
