    • Great unit for small shop where noise is a concern
Awesome unit - super quiet and big enough tank to make up for lower CFM in most cases. Shipped in a large cardboard box with a wodden base. No damage I could see, all parts looked new. Aired up tank to test for bleed off, after fiddling with the regulator to stop a small hissing sound tank held pressure for 2 days before I vented it. I use this in a garage shop to run a 1/2 driver / wrench, works great. Used it for blowing out sprinkler system (8 zone 1/3 acre lot & 8 zone 1/4 acre lot). Thing works great. On the 1/3 acre sprinklers you've got to run each zone a couple times because the 20 gallon isn't enough capacity for that much pipe, but given the price and quiet performance it's a small price to pay for a chore I've only got once a year. The regulator on my unit has changed pressure on me without noticing a couple times. If you drop the tank pressure below the regulator pressure be sure to recheck the regulator after the tank refills. I took a star off for regulator issues and low cfm - but really I'm just being picky. For the garage shop / small shop where noise is a big concern and you dont need enough air to justify a 3k + screw compressor this is a great unit. ... show more

    • Quick delivery, excellent packaging, quiet compressor BUT....
Arrived quickly, no damage visible to the extra heavy triple thick cardboard. Was surprised by the wooden floor on the container. It was well secured and protected for shipping. Upon inspection could find no damage at all. It came fully assembled except for a small plastic tube you have to plug into a hole in the air cleaner case. I'd been used to an older 15 gallon portable model and was impressed by the quietness of the compressor (yes you can talk next to it) and love the slightly higher pressure (175 as opposed to 125). And it looks nice too. I'm gonna hate putting it in it's designated closet. BUT...after three months the pressure control valve no longer functions and I have 170lbs at all times when running. This blow the crap out of my hoses. ... show more
