It’s pretty good considering the fairly cheap price tag. I use it for an overhead mic on drums. It’s a little shaky when raised high and w/ boom extended all the way out. I have a rice bag I use to add weight to the base. Works fine like that in a home studio setting, though I wouldn’t recommend it for live stuff, for that type of application. ... show more

We do mini concerts for family and friends and needed a mic stand for our portable Karaoke. This isn't the sturdiest, and the mic slips out easily, but for ehat we use it for, it works.
