I love this espresso machine. As a former barista I always wanted my own espresso maker, but don’t like the hassle of cleaning after the machine after every use. The only regular cleaning with this machine is emptying out the waste basket, it is quite small so if you are a triple espresso latte girl like me then you will find yourself emptying it out every other use, but it’s not a hassle at all. I love being able to adjust all the setting too, the app is vital for this machine, just make sure the app as well as your machine is updated or else there are some settings you will not be able to adjust. It is quite loud when the espresso is grinding but that is expected and not a problem for me at all. All I have to do is press a button, fill that tank and bean hopper every now and then, and I have fresh shots everyday. It is hands down the best purchase I have made, no longer do I have to go to Starbucks or Dutch bros and spend money as I’m sure I have already started saving money since buying this machine. Luckily I found it on sale for over half off, so if I were you I would wait until the machine is on sale again. Cause I would not have been able to safely afford it other wise. ... show more

I bought it a week ago. It makes good espresso. It looks nice and makes a lot less noise than the Delonghi machine I had a few years ago (which broke down just after the warranty ran out). I did not need the more expensive model of this present machine with a milk frother attachment because I pour my espresso into a mug of warm milk heated in my microwave. So that saved me money. It does the job. It of course requires that I refill the water and refill with beans and empty the grounds, and when I do so I dry the trash container so I don't get mold. It has a smaller water capacity than larger espresso machines, and lacks a few other minor conveniences but I'm paying hundreds of dollars less and I'm happy with it. So far so good. ... show more

    • The worst $400 product I’ve ever bought from Amazon.
I bought this ridiculously expensive coffee machine and have tried for five months to get it to work on a consistent basis. All it’s ever done is waste my beautiful coffee beans and “not do it’s job.” I loved the design, but unfortunately that’s all it has going for it. I’m DONE trying to keep it. Sending back to the company to fix, then giving it to my granddaughter. I replaced this POS with a wonderful Gaggia machine (not from Amazon). Sorry Amazon ….. maybe you should have tested this company out? I’ve never had more trouble from a beautifully designed machine that never works properly and wastes beautiful coffee beans constantly. Wish I had sent it back to you immediately- and it’s possible their quality control is not consistent, and some other machines work well. I wasn't sure about this little espresso machine, but I had to do something about improving my morning coffee with K Cups. I debated between this and Bambino espresso machine with separate grinder, but after watching a lot of YouTube videos, finally decided that fully automatic would be a good transition from the K Cup. I am very happy with my decision. I am using Fiji water (expensive but essential), Cafe Lavazza Gran Crema beans, I set the grinder to the finest, grinding time to 5 seconds for espresso and my latte tastes chocolatey. It took about a week to get the hang of using the frother, but now I can make a nice cup of latte in a minute or two. It also looks very pretty on the counter. BTW, it doesn't show on the photos but it does come with a frother pitcher. Smart HQ app was easy to use, you can customize your coffee on the app. Temperature, grinding time, amount of water etc. I set to the hottest temperature but still warm up my cup with hot water in a microwave for 1 minute. I love the look and the coffee drinks this machine makes. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it did not come with the frothing cup and, when I opened the box, there were coffee grounds on the box and in the machine itself. Then, after looking at the box, there was a sticker on it that said ”thank you for giving me a new life”. What??? I was not informed, (by Amazon or the seller) that I was buying a previously used machine. ... show more

We wanted a simple machine that could make espresso and Americano. This is it! This is the machine that we have been looking for. So far so good! Easy to use. We had guests for the weekend and used the frothed milk wand for their coffee choices. Nice!

We were using Nespresso but decided that since we don't exactly know what's mixed in those pods, we decided to get a machine that used actual coffee beans and this one is an easy one to use and it's easy to clean but you should clean it really after use or at least after a few uses so the coffee doesn't stay in there and mold. Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas… my daughter bought me a Nespresso machine for Xmas… I love Nespresso but after trying this machine with the whole bean Gavina espresso beans, Nespresso is like meh taste wise. Additionally, I was having a hard time justifying the cost of the Nespresso pods. They are like $40 for 30 pods; over a dollar per serving. This is so much better in cost and quality. The only difference is that you have to pay a little more upfront for the machine; however, in the long run, you will save much more not buying those expensive pods. I had to get this for myself after tasting it several days. There is no comparison to keurig or nespresso with a freshly ground cup every time, along with cost savings over time. After receiving the product and registering it, I also realized that this machine is actually a GE appliance. They have an app to connect it on WiFi for making your fav cup with one button and other support options. Only downside to app was it was a bit slow and to get the product working with my cup, you need to go under the countertop devices to connect it.
