I give this dehumidifier 5 stars, It was easy to set up, easy to use and worked like it should. Our humidity in our basement was high in the upper 75% we plugged in it set the unit. leveled the unit and walked away for a little while. After about 5 hours it was 68% and i can smell and see the difference, (no condensation) on my windows and after a week it's down to 54% . Now i can't seem to get it lower than 54 but overall im very pleased with this unit. I will say that it does better setting this up on a table instead on the floor.

Before buying this, consider all the reviews. The CADPX Remois XP125 that I had, worked great for three months then stopped with the E5 fault code. The E5 code is for the coil temperature sensor failure which could be a bad sensor or a leak in the coil. I tested the sensor and it is working fine so that leaves a refrigerant leak in the coil or system. Seems the build quality of these units is very poor. They are assembled in China. There is suppose to be a 5 year warranty but those are empty words. You may get lucky and get a good unit. UPDATE 2/27/2026 After reading other comments about warranty nightmares, I didn't bother submitting a claim. It came as a surprise when the seller contacted me through Amazon and offered a refund or replacement. The seller read my review and chose to make things right. That is great customer service service! So, I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4. Still cautious on these units but since the seller stands behind their product, its worth giving these units a try.

Big powerful dehumidifier for my basement. It came with a drain hose so I don't need to constantly empty the bin like I used to with my old dehumidifier. It gets the humidity so much quicker as well.

Bought this dehumidifier for my crawl space and I couldn’t be happier with it. Setup was quick and simple — hooked up the drain hose, plugged it in, and it went right to work. Within the first day I could already tell the air felt drier and fresher. It’s compact enough to fit in tight spaces but still pulls a ton of water out. I don’t have to mess with emptying buckets since it drains automatically, which is a huge plus. It’s also pretty quiet, so I don’t even notice it running most of the time. Definitely worth the money and I’d recommend it to anyone dealing with a damp crawl space.
