I had another lock like this one but from a different company that I used to lock my shed, however my boyfriend discovered that while in the locked position, you could still turn the lock with a tiny bit of force and it would open without the code. So I ordered this one as a replacement. I didn't realize that this style was meant to be used on a corner and that didn't work with my shed configuration so I just installed it flat like my previous lock. It has a little bit of play, you can open the shed maybe an inch but not enough for anyone to get in or pull anything out so it seems to work fine for what I need ... show more

Did not work for me. So these locks are very durable and well made and sturdy. Unfortunately they didn’t work for the cabinet I needed them for, they just didn’t fit the way I needed them to.
