It could be a little more sturdy- I need to make sure parts aren't flexing out of position when holding the jig against the doors. Does the job. Just need to make sure you tighten every well and keep an eye on any movements so you can readjust if needed. Saved me a few hundred dollars and all the cabinet and drawer handles came out perfect.

This is pretty easy to put together, and the measuring tools are good. The holes are a bit large so it’s hard to position a very precise pilot hole. There’s just a little too much wiggle room. I did not want to start my cabinets with the largest drillbit. I used a more precise, measuring tool for the pilot holes and just use this to double check. ... show more

    • I drilled all of my drawer pulls with < 1/16" variance.

Took a little to figure it out. Works beautifully on the drawers. I had 4" pulls on my doors near the bottom and it was difficult to do the handles on the cabinets because of the size of my shaker doors, so works great when distances are sufficient. With short distances it will be limited but can be adjusted to be used but it isn't as easy. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for, but it does work

I was able to get all of my cabinet hardware in my new house installed using this thing with just a few minor difficulties. The biggest lesson is to make sure to tighten all the screws on the device very firmly or they might slip. I have one incorrect drill hole because of a slip, luckily it's not in a readily visible spot. It's great for drawers in particular, the way it is designed makes it easy to get the handles centered the way they should be. It's a bit more tricky for cabinets where you want to put the handles in the corners, especially for two-hole handles. This is mostly because it's hard to get the jig to stay exactly in the same spot against the corner while drilling especially on the bottom side of a cabinet. It might help to take the cabinets off and lay them flat which I did not do. Overall, a good value for a DIY project. I would not recommend it for professional use though. ... show more
