  • Great kit, clamp is so-so
Style: Hole Bundle
Can't beat it for the price. Follow the instructions and you'll get good pocket holes. Bit causes some tear out if you go too fast, and the clamp is pretty cheap, but they work just fine.

  • Good value for money
Style: Hole Bundle
I wanted a kreg pocket jig forever, but was always scared away by the price. When I saw this I thought I'd give it a try. It is well worth the money. Easy to use and accurate. I'm a beginner in woodworking and find the price and value of this much more valuable. I would buy from this company again. The tools are made well and easy to use. I'm glad I got this instead of the kreg, I spent less and got what I wanted. I didn't pay for a name. ... show more

  • Great pocket screw set
Style: Hole Bundle
First use was putting pocket holes in the end of some pieces of 3/4" oak. Overall, it worked great. I did have an issue with the "connector". After I finished drilling the holes, I put the 6 inch torx bit into it, and have never been able to get it back out again. Fortunately, I can still use both the drill bit and the torx bit, do not a big issue. One other note as well. It helps to add an extra clamp, such as an F-style or C-clamp to the front of the jig to keep the jig from moving while drilling. ... show more

  • Great pocket jig for a whole lot less...
Style: Hole Bundle
Had great success with this jig. Easy to use, decent carrying case, and a lot cheaper than a Kreg, it even comes with the vice grip clamp to hold it in place. A few minor cons though, the depth setting has detents to hold it in place set at specific wood thicknesses that works great, but if you have a piece of wood that is not standard thickness(1 1/2",1",3/4",or 1/2") there is no detent and the device will not sit flat. I had some pieces that were 1 1/4" thick for example, and i either had to set it up as if the piece was 1 1/2" thick, 1" thick or guess somewhere in the middle and have the jig unstable and dent the wood when i clamped it. If I had chosen the 1 1/2" or 1" setting I ran the risk of penetrating through the back of the piece I am drilling through, a penetration of the screw at a less than ideal junction point between the pieces, and having too much or too little of the screw threads holding the pieces together. My second con has to do with the case, it is difficult to get the clamp in the case and get it to close and if you want to store some screws in it, it is difficult to close. And lastly the clamp will only clamp up to a 2" piece. Not a real big deal but if you are trying to clamp the piece you are drilling in to a surface like a table to keep everything from moving around you can't. I know, it sounds like I have a lot of cons but they are actually quite minor to me I just think it is best for those looking to know what to expect. ... show more
