The tool worked as needed. I had minimal expectations for it's quality due to it being very inexpensive. Takes a minute to figure out how to set it up for the different type of cabinet doors and drawers. Flat front doors are of course very easy. It is not of high quality in terms of construction nor accuracy (accuracy... because of its construction), but it was very cheap in price, so what do you expect. Overall it worked and came in handy and hastened the installation of 36 handles/knobs on different size cabinet doors and drawers. The tool flexes a bit when trying to firmly hold in place while drilling so care is needed to make sure you do not move the tool. So, yes it did as advertise and was commensurate with its price. I'd recommend it for some DIY'er who needed a little help.

The tool is very durable and well made. I’ve used it on multiple cabinet jobs over the past 3 years and no major concerns. I initially used it with only the stops and hand press to hold in place. However, I noticed that my holes would be slightly off every few doors. Eventually I realized that I was applying different pressure between holes and shifting the alignment ever so slightly (yes millimeters matter). I begin using one clamp to hold the jig in place and rarely have any concerns now. It’s is 10 times faster and easier than measuring, marking, and drilling by hand.

I installed 25 drawer pulls and cabinet handles while watching a single football game. So, about 2.5 hours for all of those and they look amazing. No, this cannot be $10 (ABS version)!!! Not possible for such a nice piece of equipment to be such a value! If you are a professional, get the metal or Aluminum version, as this does flex, slightly. The engineering in this drill guide is great, and the included drill bits were perfect. The rulers, guides and adjustments were all perfect for what I needed and I did many different scenarios. I think this saved me at least 6 hours of work. I give this my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Installing 60 pulls on a new kitchen this came in handy and did exactly what I was hoping it would. Easy to figure it out and make adjustments for different door/drawer sizes. One suggestion would be to make the diameter of the center punch the same diameter of the hole in the jig. It is important to get the holes centered and spaced properly. With the hole in the fixture much larger than the diameter of the center punch it is easy to get them off by a bit. This means you really need to drill holes with an oversize drill bit so you have room for adjustment.

Decent piece of equipment to do cabinet handles. I got this to put on about 20 knobs and 10 handles. Was worth the money to get things solidly aligned for a professional look. Weaknesses: W1. The placement holes on the jig are 5mm. Meanwhile the punch they provide is like 2.5 mm diameter and all the drill bits are smaller than the placement holes. The problem is then that your punch can be very off center and you have to estimate your center. Not the worst issue if you are flat on your surface. In my case however I was using this on Shaker style drawer faces and the jig was 1/4 inch away from the sunken portion of the shaker leaving much more wiggle room for error. My recommendation, what I ended up doing was found a drill bit that perfectly fit into the placement holes on the jig. I used that to push in, twist and mark my drill point. Double checked measurements and punch, drilled my holes. This 5mm bit work around worked well for the sunken shaker centers as there was near zero wiggle in the placement hole. Theanufacturer should consider providing a 5mm rod with centered tip to mark drill spot. Preferably a push punch like the provide with 5mm shaft. W2. The vertical center ruler doesn't differentiate marks for 1/4 and 1/2 inch increments. It is all 18ths with same size dash. This was surprising as the horizontal ruler had your traditional half and quarters initiated by longer marks. It was a pain to keep double checking and counting to be sure it was set right. W3. I would highly recommend the manufacturer include, or recommend a drill bit straightener jig. If your drilling into deeper wood your all around perpendicular drill alignment is critical to keep things from binding. Amazon has a variety of these, I picked up a Kreg version at the local Lowes see my pics. I highly recommend you get one if doing handles. Now the pros. P1. Rulers were very accurate. I was concerned, compared to my fat Stanley and it was perfect. P2. Center markings and notches were great. P3. The thumb screws held tight and were easy to handle. I have had issues with some equipment thumb screws but these were solid. I was concerned they wouldn't hold tightly, door much play etc. but everything was very tight and aligned where it needed to be. It even comes with a couple extra thumb screws.
