Bought this for my daughter who after graduating from a southern college developed a "taste" for hammocking..we live in new York. Up to now both her and my husband and myself have been very pleased with the hammock. We got both the stand and the hammock itself. Before deciding on this product, I did TONS of research. After all was said and done, I opted to go with this one because of : 1) aesthetics (the colors are very vibrant) 2) ease of use (a hammock is supposed to follow the contour of your spine and give you the being enveloped feeling. This one fits the bill.) 3) Ease of storage and transport 4) stability of the base 5) Design of the product (sturdy hooks) 6) quality of the fabric (dries quickly if it gets wet) and finally 7) the PRICE!!!! Absolutely in love with this hammock. It fits two adults very comfortably (and at least one 50-pound dog!) Super easy to set up, and has survived several CO thunder/wind storms. It does take a while to dry out though, so if you know it's going to rain, I'd take the actual cloth part inside.

I would have rated it four stars instead of five because it can be frustrating setting it up the first time. However, I was able to set it up fully for the first time while extremely fatigued at 11PM at night anyway, and the experience afterward made it totally worth it. I remember laying down in it to try it out and thinking, "I don't think I could ever sleep in here all night..." Then I woke up in the morning to my alarm clock. I usually sleep on a King Size memory foam mattress and this was comparatively comfortable. I wouldn't sleep in one of these every night, but the experience is worth doing once in a while. Plus when you wake up, it feels like you were sleeping on a ship all night as you get your *land-legs* back. When it first comes it seems a little intimidating to setup, but the setup is a breeze. I didn't even find the instructions until I had the whole base setup. Once you get the base setup, it can be difficult to attach the hammock to the stand at first because it doesn't seem long enough. If this happens, you either need to just stretch it by hand over the hook, or attach the hook after the hammock is in place. Once it's setup, the fabric will hold together tightly, so it looks much smaller than it actually is, but once you get into it and lay down it stretches out to look more like the picture. It can be awkward getting in it for the first time. It looks a little flimsy when you first set it up, but I'm a 6', 280lb man and it held my weight just fine. I'm not sure how you could fit two adults in it, unless one is very petite and willing to really cuddle up. ... show more

Easy assembly... It took maybe 15 minutes. The frame is very sturdy. The hammock itself is so bright and fun and the material is thick, sturdy, and water & fade resistant...we have had ours outside for well over a month in the sun and rain and it still looks amazing! It's a perfect spot to kick back and nap or relax for a few minutes when I get home from work! Overall, great hammock!! ... show more

Got this on Prime day and am so glad I did! A hammock is one of those things you say you want but don’t really want to spend all that money on...well, I finally broke down after seeing this 50% off for prime day and have been absolutely CHILLIN ever since. This hammock comfortably and securely cradles you, instantly transporting you to a little piece of paradise in your own backyard. Two average sized people could fit in it comfortably...me and my fiancé can fit on it together but I wouldn’t say comfortably. He’s average weight/height and I’m fluffy and short, for reference. It’s an amazing addition to the backyard, can’t recommend it enough. Pro tip- bring the hammock clothe inside when it rains. Super easy to get it on and off. ... show more

It’s a hammock, was fairly easy to set up; however, was not impressed with the course material and it does not comfortably fit 2 people as described. I returned mine and looking for something that more comfortably holds 2 people.

Our whole family loves this hammock. My kids especially love to rock in it. We actually have it inside for now because it's so hot out. The colors are bright and fun for indoors. This hammock is very sturdy and well made.
