I bought this phone for my 97 year old dad who is no longer able to use his iPhone, but I was unable to get it to work on T-Mobile. I took it to a T-mobile store and they spent over an hour trying and told me is simply isn't compatible with their 5 G network. Because this happened after the return period for Amazon, I contacted Artfone about a return but they have not responded.

**I will come back and update as needed **UPDATE #1- 4/25/25: SIM card from Consumer Cellular arrived fast! Three days ahead of schedule! So, I have numbers on speed dial. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. I might end up returning this because the point of buying this was a WORKING phone. Not a sometimes acting phone. :( I feel like this took forever to ship (ordered 4/5. Received 4/21), but it got here a day early. I read in the comments that this phone isn't compatible with T Mobile. I'll tell you now that it isn't compatible with AT& T either. ( And don't let them try to sell you anything you don't want.) I just called Consumer Cellular, read them the IMEI number that's located on the back of the phone ( make sure the battery is out first), and this phone IS INDEED compatible with their service!! Now, they'll have to send you out a SIM card, but she said it should be here within 3-5 days. Their prices are great too! The phone is light, but my 75 year old Mom is excited about it and with the big buttons, I think she'll be just fine with this. I wanted to pass on this info for anyone looking at purchasing this phone. I'm giving it a 4 right now because we have to see how well it works when the SIM card gets here. Thank you!

This little dumb phone is as basic as one can be. Outstanding battery life. Functions - Very easy to navigate as the system prompts the user at every stage of a given task. Rapid connectivity. I also recently purchased an Artfone G6 4G Flip Phone. Based on these 2 purchases I can say that Artfone basic senior 'dumb' phones out perform the big premium brand names that I've consistently been disappointed with the last few years. This did not work at all I fully charged overnight and as soon as taking off charger it turned off and could not it turn on. I put back on charger and it went to empty battery and started to charge all over again I tried numerous times and it did the same thing. I triple checked on the installation of battery and anything I could try without success so I returned the product. My experience with this was awful as I could not get it to turn on.

You can’t call this a senior phone. I even thought I did my research for my mom extremely complicated. It takes five actions and button hits before you can actually call. Somebody seniors need one or two actions before they can actually make a phone call. I’m returning this phone. Nobody buy this for a senior citizen.
