I would recommend this C-Stand given the price point. The stand seems to be pretty well made. All of the components fit well and work with all of my light modifiers. My only down side would be the included bag. I speculate that the zipper will fail at some point but that is just an assumption on my part. Otherwise it is very sturdy and safely holds up all of my modifiers and strobes. I would purchase this again, and I probably will very soon. Much more reliable than a standard light stand. Although heavier it is also more stable especially out in the wind.

No need for those massively expensive c stands. I was actually hesitant on getting this at first. But what the heck! Made the purchase and this is more than good enough. It is really sturdy!! High enough for a key light, can attach a ballhead for a top down shot, attach props for the background. It’s more than enough for the price!! Comes with a bag and everything. But not sure if ill be taking this around. It’s a bit heavy. Not unless if youd like to workout during shoots.

This seems like a solid product out of the box. My only complaint is that one of the clips arrived so damaged that it can't be used and I can't find a way to contact someone to get another clip.

Very happy I bought this. I went back and forth about this one over some other ones. The package came in very light, everything was in the zippered bag. The boom pole did puncture the bag but I won't take points off for that. I use this to boom a mic over talent. The stand is heavy-duty and feels very polished. Adjusting the height is easy since the knobs are pretty sturdy and tight with little effort. I am planning to buy another 2-3. That's how much I like these ones. A quick tip: To open the legs, you have to pull the legs apart with a little force. It will open after that.

I actually love them. They are easy to break down and have decent hardware. It’s not my favorite heavy duty stand but for my smaller modifiers it is worth the money. The portability is what is the difference maker the stand and pole are separate so you can easily transport for on location shoots.

We have been doing film & Photography production for 30 years and have used much gear from LA to Europe and worldwide. This C stand is the real deal and we can't believe you get all this for such a cheap price! Buy it! You won't be sorry! We mainly use it to hold shotgun mic overhead during video interviews but it also works for lights and anything else you want. Made of strong solid stainless steel which looks professional and won't ding, chip, or rust. You can run over this thing with a truck and it will still work.
