This was my first time using wallpaper! I was hesitant about ordering after reading through reviews, but I’m SO glad I did. If you are a perfectionist this will make you insane (I had to do some deep breaths and lower my expectations when I started the second roll. Ha!) but you will be the only one to notice any problems. The pattern is much more forgiving than I imagined. I made sure my first panel was straight with a level, not the corner. Getting the panel level at the ceiling was the most time consuming part starting out. You want a little extra at the top to trim because likely your ceiling isn’t perfectly straight, but that makes it very difficult to line up properly. Once I figured out to line up subsequent rolls with the pattern two birds down from the ceiling, then smooth tight up into the ceiling corner before working down, the process went much quicker. After the top is lined up working down goes pretty fast. I only unrolled about 12 inches at a time, otherwise I ended up doing a lot more readjusting to get out air bubbles. It is really easy to readjust and reattach, but you do need to be careful not to stretch it out. I unrolled, smoothed down the center, then center to outside edges. Worked like a charm! It took me several hours to do this wall, mostly on my own, but it wasn’t stressful or strenuous (and I wasn’t in a hurry). One warning, while the vertical seams are nearly invisible, the horizontal seams are much more obvious. Fortunately my first horizontal seam is hidden by a mirror and the others I strategically hid behind the bed. Their calculations for the number of rolls I needed was right on. I had next to nothing left over, but it required piecing. If you don’t want to deal with seams and piecing and your walls are more than 8 feet tall, (mine are 10), divide the length of your wall by the width of the roll and plan on wasting the remaining length of wallpaper (or use it for another project). The only caveat here is if you are putting it above molding you could get multiple panels out of one roll. I absolutely love how this looks in my room! This wallpaper is great quality, trims smoothly and adjusts easily. It is thick like a vinyl sticker, looks amazing and won’t ruin your walls. Don’t be afraid! You absolutely got this! It is definitely worth the effort. :)

Loving this wallpaper in the “Chalk” color. I wanted something with neutral colors and an interesting design that wasn’t too crazy or overly girly - and this fit the bill perfectly. This was specifically for the little toilet alcove in my bathroom and I worried the exposure to humidity might make the paper unstick from the wall or something, but it’s been up for about 6 months now without issue! The quality all around is actually great - the paper itself is thick, durable, and smooth; the design printing is clear, uniform and beautiful; durability, as mentioned, is great (I even took off a large section at one point, briefly, to reposition and was sure it would be the section to later come undone, but it hasn’t). Very pleased! *Tip - order more than you think you need…I had to order a second roll mid-project bc I was short about 8” on one side near the floor.

That was a b**** to put up, but I LOVE it!! I have searched for weeks to find the right wallpaper and kept coming back to this one. It’s gorgeous! I bought several different types and patterns to check out, but the quality and pattern on this one are far above. The others looked like legit contact paper. The tweed-like background on this hides wall blemishes and application mistakes well. If I’m being honest, it hides seams well too, especially if you end up drinking a bunch of wine and just cutting this into a million little pieces and applying it in smaller 2’x2’ sections. (It. Looks. Awesome. I added a pic so you can see one of the worst seams, try to find it on the wall!) The people on here who said application was easy must be professional wallpaper hangers. It’s plain torture. It sticks to itself, but comes apart with some ease. Wall adhesion was very good, but my walls don’t have much texture (they were previously wallpapered and painted over.) Color isn’t a dark charcoal, it’s a lighter grey. Get this paper! The only thing you’ll regret is the 17 hours of your life you’ll never get back. And the hangover. Updating with pics of the second area I covered! This went much faster and was a much bigger area. I stick by my “how to eat an elephant” method of cutting this paper into bite-sized pieces. Seriously very forgiving and MUCH easier to work with. I will add that you can’t man-handle this paper much because it will stretch and the seams won’t line up at all. Don’t buy this if you’re a perfectionist. After the second application I’d say - me:1; wallpaper:1.

First of all, I want to punch myself in the face for spending $85 on contact paper. Sure, the design is cool and all that, but it's literally no thicker or better than regular ol' contact paper. In fact, I wallpapered my college apt bathroom in contact paper and it looked just as good. If only I had marketed it. This is the 2nd time I've tortured myself with this s$@%, I don't know why I keep doing it. I guess because it looks fun. Anyone who says this is easy to install is obviously not a perfectionist. I'd like to come over and point out your air bubbles, wrinkles, and misaligned patterns. I compare this to running...I hate it while it's happening, but after I'm finished, I'm proud of myself for doing it. This stuff is really difficult to handle and I'd consider myself to be in the 99 percentile of "crafty" people. If it wrinkles (and it will) it's impossible to smooth out. If you try to reposition it, it'll rip the paint off your walls. I do love the patters and I've had some in my bathroom for several weeks with no issues with the steam. I'm terrified to hang my shelves back up because if I mess up and I have to redo any part of this, I'd rather burn my house down. Other than that, it's great! Good luck!

I got the denim blue. It is really lovely, but I have spent at least 8-9 hours putting it up (some by myself and some with a partner) and still have a long way to go in our tiny powder room. It is very hard to get the panels to be exactly straight when you line them up side by side. And if you have to cut it vertically, it’s even harder. Your line has to be 100% exactly, precisely straight, or you will get tons of bubbles when you try to adjust it. It has been very frustrating. That’s why my pictures show that some of the room hasn’t been completed yet. It is easy to unstick from the wall and reposition it, but if you do it too many times (which is definitely a possibility), it will lose adhesion. The bubbles are relatively easy to get rid of, but some of them were impossible to get rid of. It does hide them pretty nicely, though, so you have a little bit of room for error if you don’t mind not having it absolutely perfect. If I ever did peel and stick again, I’d only do it on a small, flat wall with no cuts necessary. I give it 5 stars because of how beautiful and high quality it is for peel and stick. Good luck!

I love this wallpaper. I had originally bought it for an accent wall in our half bath but the gray in the wall paper did not match my paint color quite right and I was not willing to repaint 3 walls. So not wanting to waste this beautiful paper, I decided to use it to redo my ugly 80’s oak strip cabinets in our laundry room. It made a huge difference in the look of the Laundry room! It took me a while to figure out that it’s easiest to do the cabinets in place to ensure the pattern lines up correctly. I cut it directly on the cabinet with a very sharp box cutter. The trick is to go slow, smoothing from center to the edges. Pressing it down the surface as you go. If a bubble, gently push it to the edge. If you go too fast you could cause the bubble to turn to a wrinkle. If you get a wrinkle, gently lift the paper and stretch out the wrinkle, then resmooth it down. It also helps to have a felt-edged smoother to get bubbles out. Because the pattern is large and my surface area was small I had a good bit of waste to get the pattern to line up. The whole cabinet update (8 upper doors, 1 lower, and a side piece) took me about 2 rolls, including waste, and about 3 hours to complete. Overall, I spent about $75 to update the cabinets (including a smoothing kit). Painting them would have probably cost about the same but taken way longer. After the wall paper was added to the cabinets, we installed cabinet pulls. On one cabinet, we drilled the holes incorrectly and had to redo the holes. Initially, I planned to remove the wall paper and redo it. But running low on wallpaper, I actually filled the holes and the cut small patches of the wall paper to cover them. You really can’t unless you look really hard for them. The adhesive on the wall paper is great sticks really well. The wallpaper itself is thick and has a lovely matte finish. My one minor gripe is that I wish the company would print grid lines on the back of the paper like contact paper it would make it soooooo much easier to work with! Would I buy it again? Absolutely, I’m already eyeing another paper for another project! Would I recommend it to others? Yes, 100%! Just keep in mind you’ll probably have to order more than you think and you may throw your first piece or two in the garbage as you get the hang of it. A large wall would be very expensive to do in this type of paper.

After seeing all the amazing reviews and pictures, I was sooooo jazzed. I bought 4 rolls to do just one closet wall (160$!). Allow me to burst your bubble (I'm sorry, but you deserve the truth). So, first of all, don't let the "pattern" fool you... its not textured, or high quality. It's vinyl and reminds me of the garbage contact paper for school books. Also important to note, the color rubs off on your skin. BUT I decided to move ahead. I mean, allllllll those 5 star review pictures, ammiright? The adventure begins with a squeegee and a semi-gloss painted wall. I know the dimensions are clearly advertised, but seeing it in person.... I feel utterly ripped off. Two strips from ceiling to floor is one whole roll. *gag* but ok.... my fault for not putting more thought into it. Second reality check: lack of adhesion. No amount of squeegee-ing is keeping that mother stuck against the corner. Temporary, yes.... but does temporary mean for like a day? A week? However, that part will be covered with clothes, so I continue. Third strike: flippin bubbles EVERYWHERE! NO amount of care is making this not look like someone tinted their own car windows. So... in summation, I'm an extremely unhappy customer.

Let me first start by saying... I LOVE this wallpaper! I definitely recommend having two people to hang & apply this wallpaper! It took us approximately 2.5 hours to hang this from start to finish on just this one wall. It has great adhesion on textured walls. I would suggest checking your ceilings & walls with a level... most are not strait... we use a level and found ours were not strait. Thats important for applying this without it looking crooked. I would also suggest making a ‘guide line’ down your wall & hanging your first piece according to your ‘guide line’. We used our level vertically and measure from the ceiling to the floor to create a strait level line and hung our 1st piece of wallpaper next to that line to make sure the print was strait. We have very uneven ceilings & wall corners so using those as level guides was a no go! I will say there was one roll of paper that didn’t apply as well as the others, it was harder to get the bubbles out and to line it up. Not sure why. And the pattern overall lines up well but in some spots it didn’t. If you have OCD... this might not be the wallpaper for you!
