Love the look of it for my son's room. And we have not had to use it for heat yet. I bought this because I removed the baseboard heater in a recent upgrade of his room.... The power button is on the left of the unit so that was something I should have considered. I just thought I would be able to turn it on with remote and that is not the case. You have to flip a switch on the unit it self and then the remote will work to change the temp or the color. But it loos good and will serve the purpose. ... show more

Seems like a good value. It heats fine for what it is and it looks nice, but it also looks like I spent less than $200 on it. Installation was easy. The controls didn't seem very intuitive, but once I figured it out it was fine. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the wall above the heater gets extremely hot. Uncomfortable to touch hot. I felt the need to put a heat shield on the wall, but I am not sure that it was necessary. Being that this heater was so inexpensive I have my doubts on if it has been tested properly or meets any US standards of any kind. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for an extra heat source in our bedroom. I only got a fireplace looking unit because a friend liked one she got. It can raise the temp in our bedroom by 5 degrees in 20 minutes on high, which is faster than expected. In a darkened room the flame effect is enjoyable. The blower of the unit isn't quiet, but we can still watch TV fine with it on. We have the brightness setting on low here. ... show more

I originally had a fireplace on the table it was a lot larger but it was over 10 years old and it's old and it finally burned out and I saw this one on Amazon it seemed a lot smaller which I was glad to see and very modern so I bought it and it's wonderful it does everything you can use the timer you can set it on a particular degree you can make it brighter or dimmer my daughter feels that she likes it better she thinks it looks sharper in the bedroom so I'm very happy with the product and now I'm nice and cozy in the Winter up in my bedroom ... show more
