This coat is definitely made for someone 5’6” and above. If you’re 5’5”, I would not order it. It would be too long. I ordered extra large . I am 179 pounds, 36G. The coat is not wide enough to wrap in front. There’s not quite enough room in the shoulders for me. I don’t know if I would size up because the coat has excess material on the backside. This coat is not fitted/tailored . I prefer a coat with a slit in the back and this one does not. I am returning it.

Do you ever get invited to a Fall or Winter wedding and realize that you don't have an appropriate coat to go with your dressy attire? Well, I am going to nip that problem in the bud this year, with this lovely, long jacket. It is so versatile - it could be used as previously mentioned, for a dressy occasion, or it could be dressed down with jeans, or leggings with boots and a cozy sweater. Lots of options, lots of possibilities. The coat has a slim shape to it, so size up if you like a looser look. Otherwise, it fits as you'd expect based on the size. The coat has a silky lining and the outside has a wonderful soft feel to it. I look forward to wearing this overcoat to a Fall wedding in Portland!

It fits great, and it's nice and warm. I wish that in addition to the belt closure, there were also buttons, but it'll still be a nice dress coat in the winter.

I got the olive green and really like it. Not really a pea coat, but a trench coat. More of an early fall late spring jacket when you don’t need something too heavy. Only way to close it is to tie it with the belt, but I actually prefer the open and casual look. Can definitely dress up or down.

Pretty good trench coat for winter. Outer fabric is very soft and it is lined with a silky fabric inside. Stitching and cut are well done. It does feel a little frumpy when belted, but loose it looks nice. It is very long and I am pretty short, so would likely only wear this with taller heels or boots.

Nice coat, very sharp styling. Nice fit (not tailored, but very loose and casual) - not a P-coat, but a belted trench coat. Description says hand wash only but the care label says it's machine-washable. Also, neither the coat nor the lining is wool or wool blend, unless it's under the shiny polyester (it's not!). Very warm. It comes delivered in one of those vacuum packs so it's pretty wrinkled when you get it. Good value. I took off a star because of some of the misleading language in the description.
