Was VERY hesitant about putting it together based on other reviews. 2 VERY detail-oriented women who know how to read instructions put this together with NO PROBLEMS!!! We took our time, so it did take us at least 3 hours, but we were it no rush, we wanted to make sure we did it correctly. All parts were PERFECTLY labeled and easy to find for construction. Was an absolute pain to put together. Very vague instructions. But....the finished product is absolutely wonderful. The boy loves it, and we love it. It's pretty darn sturdy for the price. And is quite functional.

It took me about 3 days to build, just me myself and I(a 23 yo Female). The only thing I couldn’t do by myself was lift the mattress up. I have found it very durable. The desk is a comfortable height for me, I’m very impressed with the storage capacity, and it feels like tons of space going from a twin bed. I would say if you can build a LEGO set, then you can build this easily. It looks great, and I think it’s a fantastic value for the money. A few things: it is very dark in the desk space, even though the desk faces my window. I installed a second string of lights(aside from the one included) underneath the bed. I also chose to skip a step and not anchor my bed to the wall because I live in a rented space. It is still very stable and does not wiggle more than a normal frame. ... show more

Biggest mistake I’ve made to date and I bought two of them. Complete ass. I want a refund honestly but don’t want to spend 10 hours of my life taking these apart. I learned a life lesson i guess, Hope you don’t too.

They’re heavy in the box. Took about 2hrs to build. My kids love them!! Make sure to bolt them to the wall because they do move a bit when climbing up.
