An easy clockwise turn, fill with about 4oz of water maybe? There is a max fill line you can see from the inside while you are pouring. Flip the switch to on, wait 60 secs (yes I timed it!), starts to boil in 30 secs, steam in a minute. Steams well and wrinkle come right out. No harsh pressing with iron. Delicate steaming while hanging. I actually tried on heavy curtain I had just for the heck of it and wrinkles came out. That curtain had been hanging in place of a closet door on a tension rod for 5 years, so not just "light wrinkles". Now the steam only lasts about 5 minutes, but it is a travel steamer and I had plenty extra water/steam that I used to play/test on curtain so a good amount.

This is my first steamer, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to. It was simple to use. It’s has a small reservoir that you can fill. Once the on button is pushed, it hearts up quickly. You can hear when it boils and is ready to use. I have mmm a highly wrinkled satiny pleated dress from Amazon that would have been a BEAST to iron. This really helped quickly take out some of the deep creases. I’ll probably need a couple more passes, but overall I’m quite happy. It’s a nice small size, easy to handle. Heats quickly.

The steamer is nice and compact. It doesn't take more than a minute to heat up the water and create steam. Be careful to not exceed the max water level (I had water droplets on my clothes when I first started steaming). The handle is sort of on the small side. I don't have large hands, but if I did, it may not be super comfortable to handle for a long time. I steamed 2 dresses with one fill of water.

This took less than I minute and it was ready to go with very hot steam. It is comfortable in the hand however I think if you were doing a ton of stuff it would cramp the pointer finger after a while. The steamer did not feel hot. The steam is very "fine" it is steaming but it is hard to see. There was not chemical smell. I did a pair of curtains and sheers and still had water left in it.

It was a nice surprise how light weight this steamer was. Ideal for travel. It has an on/off switch, so once it is on, the steam will come out once it is warm. It does a good job getting wrinkles out.

This little steamer works really well and let out a lot of steam. It heats up fast and perfect for my chiffon tops and dresses. The steamer can leak if filled with too much water. Handle is not hot to touch. Good for home use, it's too bulky for travel.
