Set up wasn’t too hard after determining which rods go where. Take down was super easy and the whole tent fit back into the bag it came with!

Johanna wanted a tent for her birthday. We thought that she could use this tent on the bed. It's too big for that; Unless you have a king-sized bed. We use it inside the house as a play area. It's almost too big to set up in the living area; which is the only area big enough for the tent. In an expectation vs reality, you almost always get less than what's advertised. Not this time. This tent seems to be exactly as advertised. We are unable to test it out outside right now, as it's scorpion season (summer) in S. AZ.; Rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions abound. So, does it leak? I don't know. The last rain storm we had gave us a flood that was a foot deep, with driving force winds, dust, and lightning. So we won't be testing it until all of that passes. Whether it leaks or not, we are rating it 5 stars. It is exactly what we wanted and it works great for a large play area. She loves her new tent. ... show more

This tent was perfect for our 2 week stay in South Dakota. Easy to set up, convenient storage pockets, room dividers for privacy and above all DRY through big storms. This is a fantastic tent!!

This replaced a Coleman tent that we had for many years, and overall I'm happy with it. I love the size of the tent, how easy it is to set up, and the attachable pocket organizer. There's plenty of room for the way we camp and it's nice and bright inside. My husband and 12 year old daughter set this up together the first time and it took them approximately 20 minutes, including reading the instructions. I don't like the doors. They're a pain to open, are already tearing at the seams, and would be better if they were hinged. The last tent had a hinged door and it is hands down the best thing any tent could have. Also, the walls aren't nearly vertical enough for this to be a true "cabin" tent. Again the Coleman wins out. We would have purchased another Coleman but none of the ones they make with hinged doors and a screened "porch" actually have a floor in the porch part. Oh well. Overall it's a great tent, and I'm glad we chose this one. ... show more

I love this 8 person tent. It feels like I am glamping in it. Easy to put up and easier to take it down. We used this tent knowing there was a storm coming, it was for hours of wind and rain. Other tents did not survived, this tent stand still except one of the connectors of the tent snapped. I bought one on here as a replacement hoping it fits. I think this tent is amazing. Pros- Goes up very easy, spacious and tall- you can walk around in it normally without crouching. Rain fly works great. Fabric lets in a lot of light. Cons- the ceiling is mostly screen, so if you have the misfortune of having to set it up in the rain, it gets wet inside before you can put on the rain fly. The door zipper was always getting stuck on the fabric flaps that are meant to keep rain out of the zipper- so opening the door is always a 2-handed operation with 3-6 tries to get it open. That was frustrating. Overall, a pretty good tent. Easy enough to set up that you can do it by yourself. If it’s just you or you and one other person, you have a luxurious amount of space for your bed(s), gear, room to change clothes, even room for a small table. ... show more
