Got this watch back in April of 2024, used it for about six month and battery stopped charging so I sent it for a warranty service which it had no problem after getting it checked. Received it back and it was charging again for about another 6 months and again, the watch would not charge and would not turn on. I love my GPS watch. It has several functions that are easy to use. The screen size is perfect, not too big to be bothersome and yet big enough to see a brightly colored screen. It is fast and accurate.

    • Won't charge after 9 months

I really like the Ion Elite but after only 9 months it suddenly stopped charging. Reading the reviews, this seems to be a common problem. I'm just now starting the repair or return process with Bushnell but other reviews indicated that customer service is terrible. We'll see how it goes but I expect a battle. In the mean time I would recommend people to look at other brands of GPS watches. I'm updating my review to be fair to potential customers and Bushnell. After my watch failed as indicated above, I contacted Bushnell via phone. I left a call back number and they called back later that day as promised. After describing the problem a case number was assigned. I sent the watch, with the required receipt to show date of purchase, to the repair facility in KS and in about two weeks they replied that the watch was covered under the warrenty. In about a week a new watch arrived. I love the watch functionally and now am satisfied with the customer service. Original rating was two stars because of a failure after only 9 months but upgraded now to 4 stars due to responsive customer service. ... show more

Battery charger connection to watch does not stay connected to watch. It uses 2 small magnets an they do not work; maybe they have the polarity orientated incorrectly? lol. A clip on type connector or USB C would be better. I'm using an elastic band. When playing courses with multiple 9 holes at same location, the gps does automatically bring up next 9 when you move over. Big Pita to get it to find it. The GPS accuracy, slope readings and brightness are good. Pondering returning it. Many other competitors in the price range to choose from. Filled out 'help me' on Bushnell Customer Support page but have not heard back. Tried to all Customer Support but a recording says they are flooded with calls and will call back. ... show more

    • Great Golf Watch, does what you need, and not a bunch of stuff that you don’t need.

This watch works really well for distances. I was using my phone with a golf app, but in low signal areas, it would be inaccurate. This thing has been spot on, every time I’ve checked the distance it gives me and double checked with a range finder. It took me a while to trust it, but now, that I know it is good, it saves me a good amount per round of golf. There are probably a lot of features that other watches have that this one doesn’t, but for the cost vs most others, this things is great.
