I absolutely love the look, style and displays of this golf watch. Unfortunately, this watch failed to work after 3 months of use. Bushnell Support provided a replacement watch five times, all of which failed working within two weeks of receipt (that is correct a total of six of these watches failed working.) I patiently worked with Bushnell Support in hopes they could solve this problem because I liked this watch so much (for the short times the watch(es) actually worked properly). While Bushnell's Support Department did their best, it is clear that Bushnell has serious quality problems with this product. BUYER BEWARE!

I really like the Ion Elite but after only 9 months it suddenly stopped charging. Reading the reviews, this seems to be a common problem. I'm just now starting the repair or return process with Bushnell but other reviews indicated that customer service is terrible. We'll see how it goes but I expect a battle. In the mean time I would recommend people to look at other brands of GPS watches. I'm updating my review to be fair to potential customers and Bushnell. After my watch failed as indicated above, I contacted Bushnell via phone. I left a call back number and they called back later that day as promised. After describing the problem a case number was assigned. I sent the watch, with the required receipt to show date of purchase, to the repair facility in KS and in about two weeks they replied that the watch was covered under the warrenty. In about a week a new watch arrived. I love the watch functionally and now am satisfied with the customer service. Original rating was two stars because of a failure after only 9 months but upgraded now to 4 stars due to responsive customer service.

I love my GPS watch. It has several functions that are easy to use. The screen size is perfect, not too big to be bothersome and yet big enough to see a brightly colored screen. It is fast and accurate.

Found the course fast and was really accurate, by the 15th hole it ask me if I wanted to continue the game so I hit Yes and it reset all the way back to hole one . Took a minute to get it back to the correct hole. Will not sync with my phone although my phone says it is , the Bushnell app says the device not connected. Entering the 6 digit pass code does nothing . I'll give it a few more rounds before my final verdict After using it a number of times - the watch tends to go to sleep mid round - will ask if I want to continue the round - hit Yes and it starts all over on hole one, Have to toggle through and relocate the hole I'm on to keep working, This is frustrating - the accuracy etc seems to be good. I'll reduce my rating to 3 stars now After 3 months , this thing has bugs - Cant get it to pair at all , cant finish a round without having to restart it even after setting the time out to it's maximum setting. Get message of " do you want to continue round ? " hit Yes and it starts all over at hole one. If it wasn't too late I'd return the frickin thing

Played for the first time last week. It is incredibly easy to use even with all of the features. This is my second Bushnell watch. The first one was just a simple front, center and back distance to green and also provided hazard info. It lasted 5 or more years, which is why I went with Bushnell again. This does so much more. I have only had ION ELITE for a few days but even playing with it only once, I love it. I tend to do a lot of homework before making selections for things like a golf watch, and I am so glad I did. Ease of use and great features with a very nice display are all things I would say. So far, I can't find anything except good things to say.

Battery charger connection to watch does not stay connected to watch. It uses 2 small magnets an they do not work; maybe they have the polarity orientated incorrectly? lol. A clip on type connector or USB C would be better. I'm using an elastic band. When playing courses with multiple 9 holes at same location, the gps does automatically bring up next 9 when you move over. Big Pita to get it to find it. The GPS accuracy, slope readings and brightness are good. Pondering returning it. Many other competitors in the price range to choose from. Filled out 'help me' on Bushnell Customer Support page but have not heard back. Tried to all Customer Support but a recording says they are flooded with calls and will call back.
