With a no-load speed of 20,000 rpm, this durable tool is designed to cut through a variety of materials like metal, tile, stone, plastic, and drywall/fiber cement. You won't waste time hunting for a hex wrench thanks to the onboard storage and spindle lock which enable quick wheel changes. With both forward and reverse capability, you can conveniently change the direction of the cut depending on the application. The included dust shroud with adjustable shoe and AirLock connection allows for convenient attachment to DEWALT extractors, while the integrated LED lets you work in dark spaces. This versatile tool is Lanyard Read Capable to protect against drops, and is Chip- Ready to allow tracking via the TOOL CONNECT System (chip and lanyard sold separately).

Overall this has become one of the most versatile tools we use. And its used to cut everything -> bought it for tile, but now its more things like metal locks, window casings, large cast sewer pipes, random grinding, siding, and even down to trimming parts off my old foxbody. Its freaking awesome... until last month when the trigger sporadically works. You have to continually push the trigger and it comes to life for a fraction of a second with the wheel turning about an 1/8th of a turn. After pushing the trigger and moving the wheel a tiny bit about 100 or so times, it suddenly starts working. Repeat daily... its annoying as hell. Its not abused, prob dropped from 2 feet or less a few times in its life, and kept as clean as possible. I took it apart and cleaned it and it worked for about a week, now back to the same trigger issue. Such a good tool it deserves 5 stars. It gets so annoying it deserves 1 star. So 4 stars it is cause when it works, its just AWESOME. ... show more
