With both forward and reverse capability, you can conveniently change the direction of the cut depending on the application. The included dust shroud with adjustable shoe and AirLock connection allows for convenient attachment to DEWALT extractors, while the integrated LED lets you work in dark spaces. This versatile tool is Lanyard Read Capable to protect against drops, and is Chip- Ready to allow tracking via the TOOL CONNECT System (chip and lanyard sold separately).

Brand new and definitely a real dewalt!! This thing is perfect for cutting and being able to handle your cuts with precision and also its good on the hands if you have and injuries also. Battery lasts awhile too. Highly recommend!!! And the price is the best around. Good job guys

This little cutter is awesome 0 kickback. It shuts down before it will twist and snap the cutting disc. You just gotta let the tool do the work. One hand cuts are common and easy. Compared to a 4 inch grinder with no blade guard. It's balance is spot on even with a 6 ah battery. I doubt I'll ever use a 4 inch or 6 inch cut off wheel again. It blasted through a 1/4 steel plate with very little effort. Almost no vibration at the start and throughout the cut. Feels very safe. The DeWalt all metals disk it came with didn't do that great on 1/4 aluminum. It started plugging up the disk. Which is common w cutting aluminum. This thing would be perfect for using in the field. Cutting tops of posts.. whatever. Totally worth it. After using it once. I would pay double what I paid. It's that good.👍 ... show more

This is a great tool. I love how ergonomic this is and can easily be operated with one hand freeing my other hand holding whatever I'm cutting. The spin direction of the saw can be changed which is great if you want to direct the debris in specific directions. I was able to cut 24 g steel baseboards with this no problem. My only complain is the dust shroud which is made of plastic. When cutting metal there are sparks that will melt shroud. The instructions state to not use the shroud when cutting metal due to the risk of melting. I wish I had known this as I purchased this tool specifically to cut metal and being able to direct the hot sparks would've been useful. ... show more

Good tool. light, balanced with plenty of power. Blade change is easy. Allen wrench for blade change stores securely on the saw. Great for times when you don't need the depth of a circular saw. I used the wood blade to successfully cut vinyl siding. As with most Dewalt tools battery life is great.

    • Dewalt mini circular saw
Nice saw I purchased it for cutting 1 inch foam insulation sheets for my pole barn . It was hard to find a blade for ply wood [which would have worked best for my application].found some blades on Amazon that are carbide so they tend to heat and burn the wood and tends to kick back more on the syrifoam board .I have to lay a straight edge down on bead board to get a straight cut. I think it's mostly the blade that's causing the kick back.the saw comes with three blades and it works great for conduit. ... show more
